Recap invisible consist

Having one of those weeks, first a missing mapfile, now an invisible consist blocking a refinery, I know this has been covered before (google) but what is the uptodate cure?
I don't want another messed up mapfile!

I am running the Beta HF2 build 92847 and it does come with a cure for the invisible consist problem. I don't know about the missing mapfile problem.

I have two routes created in TANE SP1 or SP2 that came from the DLS with invisible consists built in. These were successfully removed by running the "Delete Missing Assets" command.

On trying 'Delete Missing Assets' clicking on it gives no indication you have done so, eventually the splash screen disappears, whether it has finished I do not know but the consist is still there.
It is related to the session layer as creating a new layer gives a clean map.
The missing mapfile was a real pain, I followed the instructions regarding tzarc files but could not correct it using all the backups.
I am now using a cdp I saved a month ago resulting in 32 baffled programmed consists, cdp every day from now on!

I believe that the "fix" I described is for later builds than 90945, specifically the HF2 beta builds. It worked perfectly for the two layouts using build 92847. You will probably have to wait until HF2 is out of beta and is released.

Saving daily cdps is a method I have always used.
