I have to say the ATLS system (for me) has been one of the most fun aspects of the game design, being able to coordinate a split five way intersection with a double track crossing dividing through it...... when you run the senario for the first time, and all the lights turn red when the train crosses the intersection, you have to believe that is a wonderfull accomplishment, always makes my day when I set the systems up.
cheers
Maybe you could have a subway which is also a Railroad?Hello all,
This isn't the best shot I've ever taken, but this is the start of (hopefully) a layout connecting a few sities and towns using the Monorail, Maglev, and traditional railways. The general idea is a layout that doesn't look so cluttered and hs a nicer feel to it.

How about a multi-colour one as well?I am sensing.... green,... maybe blue?
Ish,
I haven't seen a posted monorail speed limit sign before. A typical monorail at Disneyworld is restricted to 40 MPH on the mainlines. One of the monorail pilots told me that they can go up to 80MPH.
On the monorail system that I'm working on, I use an inivisible speed marker. In the city limits, I like to set the speed no faster than 30-40 MPH. When it's a longer distance, I'll set the speed faster (60 MPH or more).
I hope this helps.
That would be cool ideal I like to see how they look with JEF's Monorail tracks
That's not a bad start. If I might make a suggestion, you should consider doing the markers in a different color. For speed signs, do them using a white background and black numbers. If you want to take it a step further, do mile marker and upcoming station signs. The station signs should be able to be renamed and do them using a green background with white numbers.
