New ferry Boat and ferry terminal Hi Gordon where i gonna put the ferry terminal?? zone?

the pier terminal is not yet completed

This is a new barge transformed in a ferry boat for trains cars and people, the boat and the pier or terminal is based in a local City in Brazil Bahia zone in a large river cross by ferry boats, the ferry boat transport actually a loco and more two wagons in a single track they can cross any distance whit the composition can travel up the all river whit a invisible track bsfn50 and arrive to the destination whit a ferry terminal like the first one. The boat gonna be upload tomorrow to dls, the terminal ferry cant be upload because made part of the job of the project Wellington port from Nzld. Thanks

Again, can I thank you for all the amazing stuff you are releasing. When I go to the DLS, I search under your username first, then download anything you have released. That is how good I consider the content you are releasing.

Keep up the great work, and I look forward to more releases, especially if it is more military content like the amazing Russian armour.

Many thanks by the preference Kenny, in the reality have many more Russians material, tanks and other stuff to adapt to trainz , but im not have any time for that maybe forward i start again put this kind of models in the dls, regards.
Hi Johnny i hope now you have satisfied whit your barge i think is bather then a simple static model you now can put a loco in there. I really love trainz 2010 and the main reason is because they allow almost any kind of simulation ( 50% is that point who turns to me trs2010 really interesting
) and i have enjoying very much playing and having ideas to make a all simulation of Ports, ferry's etc, i have forward ideas of making a container ship they allow to carry products containers whit attachment points but is not now, i have also a idea to make a large petrol platform whit some hellis ports and a ship to give assistance to this platform whit a Helli port to, and driving this Helli between the to models, i have also another idea to make a petrol ship whit actually transport petrol from this platform to the industry main land, i have millions of ideas but not having the requested time for doing all that and i continue studding and learning some tricks and ways to make then all work, unfortunatle to me i have yet many things i don't know how to make then but i catch is a Mather of time and persistence, and i lose my time learning all i can and i not lose time as a frustrated person sending emails to other creators to talk bad about then.:wave: dannyelannon@gmail.com now you are treated as a spam.

Tonny - I built those ships in 3DSMAX. There aren't a whole lot of ship assets to pick from on the DLS....at least the type I wanted for my layout.

I've said it before, i'll say it again, you don't need to steal anyone's meshes. you're obviously more than capable of making your own. my suggestion; dump this guy into your spam folder. that takes care of that.

Hi Parker, well yes you can depends how you put your invisible spline inclination in relation to the water but don't depend of the model but depends of your path spline track, you cant dive in a radical vertical way but in horizontal way slowly.

Final example of a very low poly model made in 2 hours today whit good reference photos. 500 polys of course can be much improved now specially whit alpha maps and maybe go up tp 900 polys.

wow, i love that drivable sub! :D :D

now, for a quick question. I've been playing with Vulcan's drivable airplanes recently (some of which can fire missiles, although they track along with the plane, so, say, if the plane fires and then banks left, the missiles turn to the left with it, even though they're speeding out in front). Seeing that, I wonder if it would be possible to make say, the bell (that's where most of vulcan's missiles are fired from, the B key) fire a torpedo out of the front of the sub? :confused:

As someone here wiser than i has said, "I can't tell you to do anything, i can just suggest. You, as the creator, have the right to do what you want." I believe the same. I just thought i'd ask, as another wise person told me, the worst someone can say is no.
 
Hi Chris i hope you ok,wheel sawyer the torpedoes or missiles banks left whit the model because is a separated animation when you press the key b you activate the script and they puts to run this separated animation, but they are dependent of the main mesh or are linked and that's why they bank´s left when the main model go left to. I think is not possible make what you want if so Ian Vulcan already put this situation in practice. But is a question of ask him , yes i can put torpedoes to but you must point at the target boat and wait quiet whit the sub if you moves left the torpedo goes left to eheheh.

well, that's what a U-boat's for, right? :hehe:

speaking in a "prototpye" sense, when you're talking about a U-boat, you really couldn't fire the "fish" unless you were creeping along at 2-3 knot's anyway, and the thing could only make about 9 knots underwater. There was no such thing as sonar guidance back then, so it would have to be a perfectly straight, perfectly led shot anyway. In this case, the limitations put on the model by trainz would work in your favor. you'd have to be close, about 500 yards, creeping in, fire, then crash dive away before the destroyers get you:eek:

anyway, just my two cents. It could work, especially given the parameters U-boats worked in in real life.

but again, hey, it's your model, do what you want with it.
 
Well this is a simulator for trains thats why just call then Trainz and not Subz that's why have many limitations.:)

true...very true:D but hey, you take what you can get (a little back story, I'm a bit of a war gamer, that's why my eyes lit up when i saw you were making a drivable U-boat. Thoughts of "torpedoing" one of Vulcan's drivable ships on a route where i've already got a track set up to "sink" them ran through my mind. i guess i need to talk to the greedy half of my brain again:hehe:)
