Lithgow ZigZag Railway Trainzer

On any of the following Sundays from April onwards a photo op. day at the ZigZag Railway can be organised.

April 8/15, June 10, July 8 or October 7 would be good as they are double steam train days.

Any other Sunday is a Steam + Railmotor day exc. April 22, May 13, July, 15 and October 14.

November 10th and 11th is the Steam up.

Below is the timetable for the Cityrail service to Zig Zag, as usual you would have to notify the gaurd you wish to get off at Zig Zag.

The below is the link to the Cityrail service timetable the first two services are the only two services which go to Lithgow in the morning.

Once a date has been decided I will e-mail the ZZR asking whether it will be possible for this to take place.

Weather will also play a part as the rails may be slippery and the train may not be able to stop on the up-hill parts

Just wondering what dates are good for everyone???

If you are interested please post as I do need numbers as the ZZR may need to try and reserve seats for us in one of the carriages so we are able to be dropped off and picked up at the designated places...

No point arriving and having to change plans as we can't get into a carriage as it is full (Don't I know that all to well...)
