K&L Trainz Steam Locomotive pics!

Steve is Amazing!!!

Steve, you are just an amazing person to release the best steam models for the game. I have almost everything except the NH Conny. I'm really excited for 2 of your releases. Mostly the Frisco Decapod because the only surviving one that operates is 1630 at the IRM. I swear to god a review will come withing a few weeks of its release. The Milw A class is the second one I'm excited because (Look by my name) :hehe:

By the way, what do you have planned for the Frisco Decapod release, if you do not mind me asking.

At the moment, 1630 is planned to come with the engine, tender, and a few of the cars she pulls at the IRM.

Currently finishing up a commission for someone, then moving on to the CN 4-6-2. Once I get to 1630, hopefully by mid-June, i'll narrow down what i'll be doing. Until then, i'm focusing on getting these next things finished asap.

Most of the bugs in the D16 were with the driver mesh. You could probably swap the older D16s drivers with the newer D16s drivers. The cylinders are slightly different, but they should line up at least.

*Just noticed in your picture that you already seem to have swapped out the drivers on the older D16!

Just trying to keep up Steve. :D

What he means is, is that he does private commissions. People can pay him to make a engine and not release it on his site. I hope I am correct.
Yes. I know THAT part. But what I meant is that Steve said, that certain commission, and THEN will come the CN 4-6-2. And on the projects list, the CN 4-6-2 is the first on the projects list chronologically. So something tells me that this may be another surprise.

He said he is finishing up a commission before getting to the CN 4-6-2 which means what he is working on is most likely private.

Honestly, I think he did the 587 as a little surprise for the major NKP fans or K&L fans. I was shocked when I looked on my phone and saw a upload from him saying,"K&L Trainz NKP Mikado Promo (Official)". It really took my by surprise. Either, he got privately commissioned to do the 587 and then release it out of surprise and shock us K&L fans. This is just a theory I came up with but he may not release it, unless it is another surprise he is working on.

I'ma wait for Steve to tell us.
Anyway...
I got an idea for a commission:

Let's just give Steve some space and see what he does.

Yes! What he said!

Some commissions don't end up on the website because of various reasons.

1. It's private and not being released to the public
2. The commissioner has no specific timeline in which they need the project to be complete, so it ends up being worked on overtime between other things.
3. I have downtime between projects waiting for reference material to arrive which gives me a week or two to muster something up.

NKP 587 only happened because my Non-Streamlined Selkirk reference material being sent to me from a private dealer in Vancouver was delayed because of customs. So I had a week and a half to spend on something random.
Currently working on something I took a while back and decided to finish up now that 819 is done, and a few other odds and ends jobs have been completed.

Anyone guessing what the UP logo is on the website for....it's not a Big Boy. Which leaves 99% of UP's engines left!

And back to work I go!

Stealing my stuff and then asking for my help is very different than making suggestions. BIG difference.

Keep in mind that all of my projects are commissions....meaning someone pays to have them built. The only time random stuff shows up in the rare case of NKP 587 when I was delayed keeping to my schedule. Other than that, it's very rare I have enough surplus time to work on something as extensive as a steam engine. Rolling stock is one thing, but the process for locomotives takes weeks and sometimes months.
