K&L Trainz Steam Locomotive pics!

So, all PRR steamers are now T:ANE compliant. The issue was the attachment point in the mesh was created and named in all lowercase, but in the config, one of the letters was capitalized and that is was caused it to flag as faulty.

So the PRR A5, PRR J1 and PRR K4 #5038 are all fixed.

If you refresh the Freeware page, you should be able to download the A5 again and reinstall it error free.

If you have an engine the J1 or K4 that doesn't work in T:ANE, send me a PM and i'll send you a fixed engine.

For those with the B1, here is the new interior you will need to get it working in T:ANE:

Thanks for the help Steve via email this morning. Great customer service! I really like the PRR J1. Looking forward to putting in some more orders soon.

what about the old NH 2-8-0 and SP mt-4 will they work in tane

as of now, everything on my site except for the NH 2-8-0 will work in TANE. I am need of Bills editable gmax files, which I believe we're lost in a HD failure a while back. That's why the engine never got a make over like the CB&Q O5b got when we released it last year. Since we can't get the files recovered, I'm not sure when the engine will ever be TANE compliant

I still have the nh 2-8-0 from an early point int trainz maybe that can help?

The problem is I need the original gmax files, which I believe Bill lost with a harddrive failure a year or so back. I wanted give the engine a complete makeover like the CB&Q engine, but without those original files, I can't fix the engine and tender.

I think I'm gunna buy the 614 pack soon. My favorite part about K&L's steam engines are there sounds though. I mean, the Frisco 1522 sounds like a beast! BTW, I'm making a mod of the 1522 to be the famous "demon 311" I made the smoke red, a removed all the SLSF/Frisco markings, but I need to findiut how to make the headlight red. Any help would be great!

Best regards, karan

How about you just leave the work of art alone. I mean I don't think Steve would appreciate you messing with his engine. As long as you don't release it.

Rock On!

So glad I spent hundreds of hours on the most detailed 1522 available just so it can be turned into a children's fictional character. Pretty sure this is why many consider Trainz a joke anymore.

Oh good god. Just no. This is why people cant have nice things. Commission a locomotive ya like, the guy works hard on it, then ya have people do this dumb(childish) stuff. Why would you do that to this beautiful locomotive(1522)?

If you want the 311. Just use the cowboys model that euphod reskinned years ago.

Childish things. Grow up.

Ya Im entitled to say this since I commissioned it.

Cant you just release that model of 311 you made Chance a long time ago, it will surely help Steve out with not having to put up with these people. After all you are a fan of 311 thing yourself.....

Actually. You're half right. I liked the story but as for that old 311 model of mine. I canned it awhile back since I didnt like the mesh.

All I can say is everybody in this thread needs to grow up a bit. Just another reason why Trainz is a joke anymore.

2015 saw 10 releases: 20 Steam Engines, 21 Tenders, 8 Aux Tenders, 69 pieces of rollingstock! What a year!
