Those NM&W F7s look natural on there. Great shots!
I use several varieties of "TSM" track. It's actually Russian gauge so an inch or two wider than standard, but its not really noticeable. Specifially the mainline track tends to be "TSM Track wood red2 high ballast" by olegkhim, while the rusty track is "TSM Track WWL SK R-50 old 12". They are available on the DLS, but be aware there are a ton of varieties (by several creators).what's the name of the track you're using in that last post Roon?
Actually the only thing that would give SD's a problem on the route might be tight curves. The 6 axle trucks actually spread the weight out better, in addition to providing greater slow speed tractive effort. This is why you will often see foreign railroads with lighter rail running small 6 axle locomotives (like Greece and Argentina). But whatever...the J&BTM just buys whatever is cheap!RS1 I could see but SD9's would screw the track up. they're too big and heavy for the track he's got in there![]()
That's sorta what i'm going for. Honestly, i hope a lot of Disney influence comes through. Anyone familiar with the Big Thunder Mountain RR attraction should know for the overall feeling i'm going for; run-down and scraping by, but doing so with a smile and a care-free attitude. This looks like the desert version of PC!
From what I can tell, it looks like 5' gauge. But yeah, it's hard to tell the difference....I use several varieties of "TSM" track. It's actually Russian gauge so an inch or two wider than standard
