I have just purchased and installed TS 2022 today and it looks a bit daunting.

I have been editing and driving with TS 12 and TANE for years now. That Surveyor 2.0 looks really weird!

Now some questions:

What in the devil does SHADER QUALITY, TurfFX and CLUTTER mean?
Please explain to us TS 2022 newcomers.
What do even experienced TANE users need to learn new about TS 2022?

TurfFX and Clutter (and Water) are Effect Layers - layers containing objects (e.g. grasses, stones, etc) that are painted into the route.

It shouldn't be a new one - Shaders were first introduced in TANE. They are a method of producing lighting effects on a textured surface.
