Horseshoe Curve Altoona to Cresson

what yards the Museum yards or the junita yards,....The museum yards are across the tracks from the amtrak stop pretty much

Yeah, I know I went to the muesum yards on the big train fest this year, I was referring to the junita shops. Sorry for the confusion.

hi Michael_Evans i only live 1 1/2 from the curve let me know if you need any photos i be more and happy to help you in this can't wait for it to come out i even have a Schedules and all kind of stuff when my uncle work for conrail and he retired ns.

After a very long break (WOW! My last post in this thread was in August!) I decided to get on my lazy butt (You don't stand at a computer) and start working again. I'm slowly getting back to work. School takes away your trainz life. Gallitzin is slowly coming to life. And I have the trackwork in Cresson completed. I would post screenshots but photobucket and imageshack aren't working for me. Plus I haven't got a-lot done since my last post.

Not much, I added somemore houses and buildings in Gallitzin and started the scenery in Cresson, but that's about it.

It will take a long time.:hehe: I started on the Horseshoe DEM at Southfork and just made it to Conemaugh in Johnstown (about 10 miles). To do the quality work that Michael is doing will take a few years to finish the route....at least that's what it will take for me to do it.:o

Nice route Michael! Keep up the good work. We're all behind you on completing this thing and I look forward to running on it!

:)

Thanks all

I leave no stone unturned. As for how long it will take, I'm hoping that it'll be done sometime this summer when I have more free time. It would be nice to finish a route.

I copy and paste, easiest way to get tree covered hills without cheating and using tree splines.

The split grades start to take shape. I'm going to rework the grades so they look more, um, split.
