This discussion of particular locos, and how to post icons, is completely Off Topic ... Hardly has anything to do with the post topic: Horseshoe Curve Altoona to Cresson

Thanks for explaining me the differences between the 60I & 60M Ddatrainman & matps245
EDIT: Sorry cascaderailroad, my stupid curiosity struck again.

The Station Inn is a very common building, possibly splicing (kit-bashing) two of GFishers houses, with porch's, together might make a reasonable facsimile. It was once RR Flop House for layover crews.

The Tunnel Inn in Gallitzin was once the town police office/jail, also a very common building, DmDrake might have a similar type brick building.

What does: "Chopping Up" mean ... frame rates ?

The reason I don't texture, and slap a bunch of trees and buildings down is two fold:
1) I am still tugging the baseboard grid up & down, and textures would cover things up, making wire frame mode the only means to do so.
2) And I have alot of assets that are non-DLS, so plunking down Romanian buildings would make finding assets harder for folks.

I consider Textures and Buildings as unnecessary filler, that are easy to add, much later on, and even for the end user it is easy.
Also I have seen Mezzoprezzo texture mountains, in the distance, with no trees whatsoever, with a gradually fading Smokey Mountains look.

Ya thats what i meant frame rates and where can i mind that station inn building thing i stayed there and its very nice and also where can i get those under ground tunnels that you can walk under like in cresson.

Hey guess at cresson going east is there a switch down there and if there is how many tracks does it go to?

Working on Cresson

The mainline at Cresson Wye has 1 track WB, and 2 tracks EB (as does most of the NS mainline, today).

East of MO Interlocking there a 4 tracks, and that is where the upper grade separation begins.

West of MO Interlocking there is a switch that leads to the Corman line north to Fallentimber, and also there are several lead in switchs to the wye, and siding tracks, and also to the Upper Yard (which is now mostly a scrap yard).

In Google Earth (free) you can see the siding tracks to the wye, there may be 3 additional siding tracks on the north side of the mainline ... IDK.

Cresson also had the "O" track that split from the mainline just past the Cresson flyover (torn down), and went east behind MO Tower (also torn down), and the Cresson Lower Yard was attached to the "O" track.

If I am correct the "O" no longer exists, and is a gravel access road under the Rt 53 bridge.

The Upper Grade separation has 2 lower tracks diverging to UN Tower (town down) and Gallitzin, and 2 higher tracks leading to AR Tower (abandoned pending demolition) and narrows to a single track at AR tower and goes through the Portage bore.

Alot of the tracks shown are torn out. Best viewing is at @ 200% zoom

At a later date you can always edit tracks out, and make changes, as can the end user.

I absolutely hate the way NS has streamlined the once complex PRR mainline ... that is why I include all the tracks that ever were on my route.

I am working on a newer updated CDP this weekend, and hope to release a follow up 2nd CPD, to replace my 1st CDP which is already on Mediafire.
