I just started getting into the 2019 version and was following along with the tutorials, the directions going thru them were good. I though this game was really cool, so I bought the Altoona Works DLC and now my tutorials have a red icon, faulty dependencies (pop up message) and now the tutorial directions are somewhat hit or missing. Also The Altoona Works sessions all have "faulty dependencies" icons. Is it worth upgrading to 2022 and possibly the Gold to be able to get a problem free install? I really want to like this game and I think it has lots of potential, but if I have to figure out a problem when I add a DLC that may not be worth it.
Thanks
Donald
Welcome to the forums and to Trainz, Donald.
There's no need to upgrade unless you want to, as that won't fix your problem.
There are a couple of things you need to do that should solve your problem.
Open up Content Manager by clicking on Manage Content on the Launcher.
Where it shows Installed, click on that and choose Open for Editing.
If there is any content shown here, click on one item and press CTRL+A to select all the items.
With everything still highlighted, right-click and choose Revert to Original.
This will close any assets that are open for editing.
Where that filter shows Open for editing, click on that and choose Faulty.
This may take a few minutes to check your content.
If there are any items in here, highlight as you did above and repeat the Revert to Original.
