Horseshoe Curve Altoona to Cresson

I was afraid of that. It would take approx 25 baseboads at 2%+ grade to connect at 0 meters. That would be appox 12.5 miles from Southfork to Johnstown in its current form. Actual distance is more like 8 miles. Could be done but that's a lot of work. May do it anyway. We will see once your route is released. Keep going!:Y:
Well, I'll slowly go downgrade from Cresson to South Fork, that should bring me to 0. Just don't tell anybody. ;)

Always got to keep an eye on the competition.

Mike, your representation of Horseshoe is amazing! the only thing it's missing is: Ed Kaspriske and his Horns :D
Keep up the awesome work mate, and reach for the stars. Dont worry about MSTS2, its just 'semi-good' model, not as good as yours.
Cheers.

Great looking route! If you still need help with TRS2004 grade crossings I highly recommend the ProXing pack on the DLS.

the route is looking close to done then
Looks can be deceiving, the route is far from done.
Wow! All these comments! :) Is it that good?
Right now I've completed the trackwork between Cresson and Altoona station and I'm finishing Gallitzin. When the trackwork is complete and most of the scenery is complete I'll ask for beta testers.

UN tower by Mike (leeferr) He also made several other buildings on the line.

Do you have any pics of the Altoona railroad mueseum or have you not gotten to detailing that? Either way this route is looking great and I myself will admit that I thought it was almost doen too. I wish I were that good:(

Hello Davis
I haven't detailed the museum yet but it will be included. Locomotive and Car shops and the yards too.

IMPORTANT: I'm working on another large route with a group so there will be no updates on the curve for a while.

Looking great Michael! This will be a must download once you finish it! :) I too wish there were some alternative crossings in 04...

Keep up the great work!

DLS is usually my last option because it is slow and sometimes doesn't work. Most likely a third party site. I'll tell you which site it is going to be on when it's almost finished.

Sounds good to me. Barely any of my content is from the DLS but when there is something good, I'll grab it. Most of my stuff is from 3rd party sites like VBG, or conny's, or TCR, etc.

My pleasure Michael. :)

Take your time and enjoy...we'll be happy to run your route when you're happy to release it. =)

I agree, and most importantly have fun with it! It's ur hobby! I on the other hand can't decide between model rr and virtual rr, maybe all just have to do both!!!!!:)
