Golsdorf 380

Greetings:

My son recently converted to Trainz from Microsoft Train Simulator when we found out that Microsoft has cancelled their new version of that program.

He really likes Trainz so far, but he misses his favorite train from MSTS: the Golsdorf 380. Does anybody know where I can find a version of the Golsdorf 380 that will run in Trainz? Thanks.

Hello Gary. Welcome to the great world of Trainz. As far as I know this Austrian steam engine has not been made for Trainz. I agree that it would be a fantastic addition to the already huge collection of available steam engine from all around the world. I hope another steam enthusiast with the abilities to re-create it reads this topic and gets excited about making it.

Is this the MSTS 380 you are talking about on this site? - http://www.ildeposito.net/ - (Some nice looking steam loco's on this site. Unfortunately they are all for MSTS)...
There's several other European Trainz 2-10-0 that you could use in the meantime. (until one is made for Trainz). Do you have any pictures of a 380??? For those interest in Karl Golsdorf; - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_Gölsdorf

A new version should be available for download via the patch trainz button on the options dialog

You most likely have a pirated copy. Purchase a copy here and register the serial number, which you also use to install the sim. If you buy the Digital Download you can have Trainz up and running in a few hours (depending on your internet speed.)
