Flashing Screens

Hi all , I'm sure this question has been asked before but I did a Search and came up with nothing so here goes.....I run TRS2006 with SP1 installed.My PC has 2Gb of RAM and 512Mb SLI graphics.My only self built route currently has 1300 Dependencies, 77 of which are broken and 2 are missing.Recently it has developed an alarming habit of the Screen flashing when opening Surveyor or Driver , and when I try to pick up goods from a MIN the game crashes with a fatal error.I know about problems with faulty content and I have deleted most stuff I have recently installed.Anyone got any suggestions how to sort this?

Some ideas:

Have you changed the video board or its drivers?

Try updating the video board's drivers.

Try switching from DirectX to OpenGL or vice-versa.

Does it happen with all layouts or just your layout?

If it always happens, consider reinstalling Trainz.

If it just happens on your layout, check the log0.html file after the error occurs, it might have some clues. You could also make a copy of the layout and then try removing dependencies to isolate it to one or more faulty assets.

Cheers John , I"ve not touched the video card or drivers and it only happens on my own route.One serious problem is that when I run a train of empties to a quarry and load up on MIN New the game crashes when I give the load command.I have a large amount of Rollin Stock on the route and when I try to add a new Driver the Driver Edit screen goes gaga...

DOH!!! I deleted all of my rolling stock and the problem clearedI then added one consist and it ran fine, and even my frame rates seem to have improved... Cheers mate.
