When I click on Content Manager and select Download Station, then try to download an asset, I get 'Unable to search asset' and 'Unable to contact server' after 60 seconds or so of trying. Is the server down or what?
When I click on Content Manager and select Download Station, then try to download an asset, I get 'Unable to search asset' and 'Unable to contact server' after 60 seconds or so of trying. Is the server down or what?
I've had no issues downloading. I just did it a few minutes ago to test if there was a problem. There are many possible causes for this in addition to antivirus programs.
- You or your family are using VPN.
VPNs work by rerouting connections and this can cause your connection to fail. Disable the VPN and try again.
- You are using wireless and have a lousy connection.
If you can, connect directly to your router or find someone that has a network you can connect to. The reason is some wireless connections timeout with large amounts of data. By connecting directly to your router, this will allow you to download.
Related to this, is some ISPs such as T-Mobile will prevent Trainz from downloading. Find another place where you can download.
