Unable to download from the DLS (via CM)

Out of nowhere today I began having problems downloading from the DLS via Content Manager for TRS19. I've checked my firewalls, internet connection, everything I can think of, and I still keep getting "Unable to download (asset), connection interrupted".

I've seen other threads in this forum with this very same issue from back in December 2023 with no obvious resolution. Does anyone have any ideas or are we just out of luck?

seems like the problem is on N3V, but no word on what is going on. I get the file not found like you.

Well hopefully N3V or someone figures it out soon. Im just glad now its not just me. I did have internet problems the other day and before I came to the forums I googled the issue and someone on some other random forum page from like back in 2017 was having the same problem on his copy of TS2012 and someone was telling him it was a firewall issue. so I was thinking where my internet had to get repaired that something while the repair was going on change my firewall settings and I was worried. But now that I see others having the same issue im not that worried that its my end!

Anyone have an actual solution to my issue before the thread got hijacked?

Thanks.
Try logging out and logging back in. N3V said there were "issues" with the servers and updated/fixed things. If you haven't logged in since the issue occurred, sign out - on the Launcher, go to Trainz settings and then the My Trainz tab. Click on your username.

After you do that, close the Launcher and wait a minute. Start up again, go to My Trainz tab un Trainz settings and sign in again. If that doesn't work, contact the helpdesk.

bonjour moi j'arrive à les avoirs car je prends mes fichiers 2010 et certains ne fonctionne pas d'autres materiel français belge italien et autres fonctionne je vais la ou il mette telecharger les documents et il le prends sans probleme

I am having the same exact issues. It was working fine until yesterday. Everything will load in the DLS as if there is no problem but when I click download I get the "Connection interrupted" error. The only differences lately were I upgraded from 19 to 22 and I moved but kept the same wifi, so shouldn't have any issues there. Have they found any sort of a fix for this? It really is frustrating especially when you pay for a FCT just to not be able to use it at all. I tried logging out and back in as mentioned above, twice, and shut down my modem and router with no luck either time. I can download from my hotspot on my phone which is through another carrier but it's not as fast as usual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disconnect your wireless connection on your PC and reconnect it. It's possible that your IP address has expired and hasn't renewed.

I have no issues downloading anything where I am located.

If by that you mean to forget the network and reconnect I have done that already with the same result. I've restarted everything I can restart and logged out of everything I can log out of and back in again.

Okay. I just responded to your other post too with my same answer more or less.

What ISP are you using, by the way? T-Mobile is one that blocks downloading and connecting.

Are there any other connections you can try?

Try deleting your firewall entry for Trainz.exe and putting that back in.

Try a network reset. That will clear all kinds of things related to networks. Browsing may work fine but other services for some reason don't and this will fix those things.

Spectrum is the wireless connection, I've had it for 2 years with no issues in trs19, AT&T is the hotspot (which worked). I will be able to try another connection here later and see what the outcome is. I will see about a network reset. I'm not super tech savvy with that stuff but I can give it a go. Sorry about the two posts, I found this thread first but wasn't sure how far my comment would reach in here. I appreciate the help.

Keep this one active and forget the other thread.

Spectrum usually doesn't cause problems but who knows...

Do you still have TRS19 installed? If you do, try downloading from there just for kicks.

And... are you logged in with TRS22? I know it sounds dumb but we need to rule that out.

Network reset is found under Windows troubleshooters. We can try this last.

There shouldn't be an issue with TRS22 since that's the same exact set up as TRS19. I use PLUS and that is also the same set up.

Trs 19 is still installed, as in the launcher is still visible however its data folders have been backed up to an external hard drive and deleted from the laptop to save space on my SSD. So if I were to access it it would have no data. I saved a copy of the trs19 data folder and redownloaded it to my computer and directed my trs22 there. As for being logged in, yes, I am signed in under the same account I am using here.
