I need photos of a Monaro before I can model one, but very much after one. I'm keen for some Kingswoods too, getting harder to find out on the roads these days.
That looks much better.
I should have mentioned before I felt your cars were a little too short.
Could you please give us a side-on screen-shot of this last one, & say a Hilux?. I felt they were a little too stubby.
A minor critique, not a complaint.
You are doing excellent work, with much-needed long overdue Australian icon content.
I guess a lot of my scaling comes down the fact that I often compare my vehicles with others to get a reasonable scale. I only did this cos up until recently I never Googled dimensions.
I feel I should be getting more accurate now that I do Google dimensions as I did with the GTHO.
I have a side on view for you of the great V8.
And a couple of reskins with a few more likely.
It will also be quite easy to make a normal XY/XW from this model.
There is something else I need to mention, and I only just found this out. I have used the side of an XW and the rear of an XY, this is what's causing me and others a bit of confusion. I guess if we can live with that, it's still a decent looking car huh??
A big thanks to Zec for allowing me to use the FTP server at VicTrainz. I will be able to release some vehicles from time to time, but rest assured they will also be available on the DLS.
Anyone who's not a member of VicTrainz, you will need to register in order to gain access to the forums.
Colhad, I know some prefer scale drawings but if it helps check dimensions here's a site I found. TheBlueprints.com
Has instructions on setting them up in viewports of some modeling programs under tutorials.
They look wonderful, & I've downloaded the 'older-looking' TRS2004 ones, all but this one, which has an error message, saying it doesn't exist:-

A bit sad for me, as this is the one I really wanted to get to play with.
But I can wait. just wanted to make sure you knew.
Anyone else have problems getting this one?.
