Hi Ron & Col,

Ron I am curious, as to the "spare set of numbers" you use??.
I'm just inquisitive as to what they are/used for?. :o

And Col, what a very nice menu board to select from!.
I await availability from the Auran kitchenz :D;):udrool::)

Hi Ron,

Thanks for the list of kuids you've set up to test.
Do you happen to recall which ones are TRS2004 please?.

Presently I have a major problem with my normal method of downloading.

Usually I use (really bad grandma!) the excellent "Downloader Pro" program by Jelte.
However last weekend it appears that Auran did something that now prevents this program from presenting anything other than the very first entry at the top of the DLS page.

I have used this program with not a problem up until then. It saves cdp files 'in the background', while you continue searching & adding more to download. The cdp files are all stored, & when finished downloading you batch-install the new ones. All dependencies are checked during each search, the downloads are fast & very few if any errors over several year's use. With my TRS2004 it works brilliantly.

I have been in dialogue with helpdesk staff, & late Thursday night they have now advised they will try & "look into it". :)
Thanks Auran team. I know it's a big 'ask' & inconvenient right now, but feel it's important to nail this one too, at some stage.
Auran policy apparently normally precludes sorting out whatever it is that has been changed in the Auran software, that prevents 3rd party software functioning as it used to. However I feel quite strongly in this case it is important to at some stage find out "why is it so?"

Once again brewcrew, thanks for your consideration with this one. :)

My apologies for being off-topic here.

I just want to say Col how I really appreciate that you are providing Australian 1960's era content, as well as later.

ghi noel

no idea whats what.

if you give me a few days i will try and find the partial list of kuids and names that work

i have them sorted by car, truck, bus, semi amd misc

i just gotta find them in the mess leftover from the 3 hard drives i am in the process of reformatting after sorting

Hi Ron,

No worries no hurries :)

Three HDs being formatted, hmmm sounds like fun! :o :hehe:

Once upon a time I used to get by with 8kb of ram & a 4Mb HD, on an old Amiga.

sigh.

Ron, my vehicles are only on the DLS, I did submit them to VicTrainz one day before they went belly up.

I can't say what the problem is with the DLS, you could probably email Helpdesk to see what the problem is.

Hey Colhad, what is your capability for more complicated vehicles such as cement mixers, and other construction vehicles?

Hi Jadebullet & Col,

Have you done a search on the DLS?.
Perhaps try creators "Alien" & "Ahsan"?.
Also an excellent Japanese cement mixer, by (I think?) "Tokyo"??.

There's heaps of construction stuff on the DLS, but as some of them are named by their "industry-known" names, somewhat difficult to spot.
Also many tools & implements.
Searching for "Tool" may get you to an author who also does some of the tractor-type implements.

The Russian site where the animated people come from has some excellent animated machinery there too.

But Col, don't stop!!!!! :wave::o:sleep::D

Be available soon.

Hi Col,

Very well done!.
And they don't look like they were easy to do at all!.

Any update on lengthening the Toyota twin-cabs?

I have several Murray River beach scenes (I might send you a screenshot soon),
where your Ford & Holdens look great, together with some of those 1940's_1960's UK cars.
And of course yes there's a VW beetle there too.

You have added 'tilt' into the various configs, eh?:o:D

Noel

None of my vehicles have tilt unfortunately, I ain't gunna go through and update 55 billion configs either.:p

I'll start doing it from this Berlina though.

I also have a VeeDub on my to do list, when I get around to it.:hehe:

ooooh a VeeDub, what would that be?

Here are some car pictures I took. he Subaru Forester you made alreday is still there. There is also an Ford Econoline (E150), and an Aston Martin DB9. the DB9 is actually a scale model of the 007 one from Die Another day so there are two front and side pics, one with the "extras" showing and one with out.
