Great hear that I might see a FJ, and it's great up here with the odd cyclone or 3, not much happens at that time of year with them hanging around, also we are cut from QLD by road for about another month I would say.

Glad to see you managed to make my car and some others in different colours, The car without the spoiler on the back would pass as a normal 3 series in europe routes in TRS. 318 to 325 models i think production for the 3 series is about 1983-1991 as for the M3 i think it is 1986-1991.

Colhad if you require other photos of european cars let me know i will see what i can dig out. I currently own a 2005 saab 9-3 saloon virtually the same as the one below, I can take some pictures of my saab for you if you want let me know if you like the look of it:-

Also i have pictures somewhere of my old 1996 E36 M3 coupe.

The limo you posted on the first page of this thread, are they your photos or did you take them off a website. Only gotta ask cos they must be your own photos, websites have a terms of use that could get me in hot water.

Are you photo-texturing these or making reskins based on photos? I got pictures back of my car but some details didn't come out right and I tried matte printing, never did before, appears to have dulled things out (though it may have worked great for pictures I took for texture work of other stuff). License plate is blurry, body detail on sides and rear doesn't show.

I use the photos themselves as a texturing means. The photos that people send me end up wrapped around my cars.

I just copy around the vehicle and paste it into selected area in PSP7. When you see my texture files, you can see why I ask for front, side and rear shots.

As for reskinning, I'd create a new layer and call it "colour". I would fill the whole area with another colour, then play around with the "layer blend mode". Try different types, for example, Hue, Saturation, Overlay, Soft Light, Hard Light etc. Sometimes I can adjust the opacity of the layer as well. A lot of it is trial and error.

With that method, you can change green into red, blue, or other shades of colour.

Once I am happy with the colour, I'd just go around and delete the areas that are covering things like headlights, tail lights, windows etc.

That's just what I do.

Hi Pete, I got those pics thankyou, what an awesome thing to model. Stay tuned folks, particularly the Aussie people.

Anyhow, a Toyota Corolla, not sure what year, maybe 2008 model, I think it looks like a fairly recent model.
