A big Hello goes out to everyone of you who know who I am.
I had to take an extended break from Trainz due to burnout and some health issues. The health issues are no more but the burnout isn't gone yet. I've worked on a few pieces of content during my time away but nothing significant. I have also upgraded TPR to the newest forum code. This will be going live in a few days for those that still pop in. I will be working on the depot to get that working better or work on another script. Haven't really decided yet.
So what's been happening with me since I have been gone ?
Our main job is not going so hot. the company we work for has shut down 2 lines and closed 2 plants in the last year and a half.
My wife and I have a small business which has been getting more business recently. Other than the kids, this takes up a big part of any free time we get.
We are members of our kids' High School Band Boosters in which I've done a website for them. I take care of the site and take pictures while my wife videotapes the performances.
I now play softball 2 nights a week and it is starting to show.
Robin_hoods has taken on the roll of depot caretaker which is greatly appreciated ! Thank You !
As for TPR in general, I can't tell you when we will be back in force as a group. We lost alot of respected and great members through the years because of some bad decisions and life getting in the way. You know who you are. Last time we got together for a board meeting, we had 6 members who were present and 2 not present. We may have about 3 that are still "active". For now, I will make sure the forum and depot are maintained. What the future holds is anyones guess.
