We just learned today that Jango, Giafranco Messaggi, has passed away from illness at his home in Sebino on Northern Italy. He has been in poor health for some time, and he passed away at a facility near his home and a service will be held soon for family and friend.s
We here at Trainz have enjoyed his amazing work route making routes for Trainz since 2004, over the years his amazing skills and vision got better and better. Several of us and I were fortunate enough to work with him on several projects and as recently as just over a year ago or more he worked on updating the Gilpin route, but the route we worked on the most was the wonderful Rollins 1910 where he achieved miracles with the overall route and scenery.
We are very sad to share this news, and our prayers and condolences have gone to his family and we wanted to let the community here know.
