Placing correct facing streetlights - game changing assets available

Ok so over twenty years of slogging away at placing individual streetlights, raising or lowering them and facing them the correct orientation toward the middle of the street, I have come across some new assets by Italian creator
Rossano (egos48) over at Trainzitalia website. What used to take me hours of fiddly movements for correct placement takes a fraction of the time. The items are track object but used on road splines. Some limitations but around 95% perfect for the job at hand. Here is a link to the download page. here is a thread dedicated to these assets: we accidentally stumbled on this hitherto unknown asset capability when one of our members complained - just like you - about having to place streetlamps by hand.

In the thread I posted a complete config file, and I am of course willing to provide everyone interested with information about this new technique.

We are currently working on lots of "roadside" assets, including road signs, station signs and platform accessories (such as benches, flowerpots, PA systems, lamps, arrival/departure displays).
