Terrible accident west of Port Augusta...

As Associated Press reported today, a terrible accident happened this afternoon west of Port Augusta, South Australia. As informed sources said, a pair of SCT Class locomotives on a "hook and pull" lease to the operators of the Indian Pacific came horrible unstuck when a weld on a rail gave way as the lead locomotive traveled over it:

Further reports suggested, although the scene looked like a battlefield, only the operator of the lead locomotive had his pride dented and is still recovering with a copious amount of West End ale. Miraculously no passengers were hurt. Railway experts are still scratching their collective heads and are puzzled over how a trailing locomotive ended up in front of its leading counterpart.

Latest reports in say the (Transfield) maintenance welding crew having recently upgraded the tracks on this line are under arrest.

Cheers

From what I've heard over the years of his reputation, looks like someone put Alistair at the helm. OOOppps.:hehe:. Nice story for what appears to be a nasty incident. Nice shot and nice story telling.

See how you go

Hey guys ive been a trainz fan for a while but this is my firstpost on a forum anyways. i am really "noobish" at building Routes and i would really like to get really good at it so could anyone tell me a catenary spline that will fit davido's v set content? i really like davidos very own catenary but i think its a little to hard to line it up perfectly for me at the moment or can anyone give me a name of a route will run v sets good? my favourite route personal is wadalbavale but i really like NSW electric trains.

Welcome to the trainz asylum. We all have been where you are right now so we all understand what your feeling. MY suggestion would be to try things on test maps to see how they work or what looks great. There are some very talented map makers content creators and individuals that if asked nicely would give you some assistance or advice. Dont be afraid we may look and act scary at times but we dont bite too hard lol. I hope you enjoy your stay and time here.

Coreycat,

Welcome, and as Ghosty says, we've all been in your position at one time, some of us longer than others, LOL.:o

Matching Catenary and OHW for Davido's V-sets are available from the same place as the V-sets themselves, Worrybrook Station.

Hope to see a few screenies from you soon,

Matt.

Hello Coreycat and welcome to the forums.

You will need to upload your picture to a place like www.photobucket.com or such and then use an IMG link posted in your post to show your screenshot.

Look forward to seeing some screenshots

Oh and......................

Happy birthday Craig <Seeseeme>
