The year 1974 the Chaos the 1974 floods. In the following scene we recreate something that not many may recall seeing or that it ever happened.
The loaded coal train has just crossed Highway 15 as it heads along the Swanbank Branch. For those playing along at home the loaded coal trains ran for a time from North Queensland to keep Swanbank Powerhouse going as some of the nearby coal mines supplying coal to the powerhouse were out of action caused by disruption from the flooding. Stay tuned when we will do the timewarp again and go back to ancient Queensland to relive history. Ghosty

Cheers.
I am not happy with the "ancient history" remarks as I don't consider myself that old and it just seems like yesterday to me. My memory says lots of EE types like the 1270s and 1300s on the trains.
A few screenshots from my route NSWGR Melton North which should be completed by next week
The route is an expansion of Melton Vale.
Patchy and Ghosty post up some of the better screenshots here! I always love coming to this thread and reading the dialogue and looking at the screenshots - I feel that if the thread was just pictures, there wouldn't be half the interest without the banter. I feel that well-meaning comments made by one user have been blown out by another user who has had a hissy fit and gone on the offensive. To blame Ghosty and Patchy for this is unfair.
I find it ironic that you complain about the recent text-heavy posts, and then fill up the page with one-line posts that do nothing to contribute any screenshots... Pot, kettle, black.
