HI all,
driving a loaded Qr coal train out of Waitara from a standing start with a trailing weight of 12408 tonne. Not a easy job got it up to then it drop back to 23 kph before i got to the top of Waitara bank. It should make an intersting session when completed.
Zec: Stop inspiring me! *shakes fist* awesome work as always my friend, truly inspirational
Cookie: I've longed too see your route since we first discussed it many years ago in Mackay, and will happily wait for the day I can give it a thoughrough workout

I thought that Trainz version 12 allowed stitching together of maps. Recently ,and using a fresh install of 12, I tried to combine all the Victorian stations you had built into one map. I randomly placed 4 or 5 boards in between to create distances between stations, applying curves etc, hoping to match your scenery in between. 9 times out of 10, I find the stitching together fails, even crashing out Trainz all together. When it does work, I am at a loss to know why it did work. And finally, I find the working versions fail down the track after I apply more textures, hills etc on the blank boards. Anybody suffering these problems?
Anyway, I would be interested in hearing from, even seeing screenshots of maps built up using Mullies station maps How about it guys and gals?
Cheers
Rod
Odd, I have zero problem merging routes together, but please, be my guest - I make them to be used and abused, so do what you like with them, I don't mind in the slightest
Nice stuff Dimi & Zec - very artistic and creative. Not well versed in VR, but mighty fine looking steamers too, Zec.
Some of my own...
Warrah NSW, 1982... Many moons ago, the railways in NSW actually provided a service to the people. The Night Mails were an institution that served regional areas of the state.
Nearing sunset... 4473 hauls FS, BAM, BS and MHO into the lonely outpost at Warrah. Within a decade, the Mail trains would be just a memory ...
Forest runner i missed your work mate. If i could swear in this post i would but without using profanity, those shots are AWESOME. Massive fan of those screenshots.
Mail train led by a trusty 44 class with an MHO at the back. Wish i could go back to those days (even though your shots were taken a year before i was born )
Bah...too much clean, modern stuff...how about...a fictional forgotten and almost abandoned branchline...presenting - yet another reason why I'm not allowed in surveyor and get bored...
Yup, randomly rotate and such, still get that odd 'patterning' effect, but often, I use cut and paste, and try too 'randomly' rotate the 'pasting' - maybe laying them by hand IS an easier (but slower) way....
Aye, intimately familiar with it, sadly, the station (which Bill was awesome enough to make) doesn't come with old, cracked and 'weathered' versions...much to my shame - maybe I can ask Bill nicely.....
