Australian screenshots

The trapezoidal signs used in Queensland were imperial speeds. There are numerous shots out there showing them. They were replaced by the round ones as imperial speeds of M.P.H were replaced by K.M/H.

Ghosty

bearcat, DavidT and Davido made the 44 class. DavidT's went built-in, and Davido's is DLS material. Any of DavidT's content went built-in IIRC

Not all of DavidT's work was builtin and not all of DavidT's work was released under his user name either, in the early days of trainz it was quite common to use a nom de plume for content.

I have a brother in law named David, nice guy. my daughter took up with a David once, total drop kick. Then there is David Attenborough who I admire greatly, oh and I was a trank crewman in the army with another Dave, he drove, i played with the cannon, then I knew several Davids when I was an ambo, since then I have made the acquaintance of Dave(bearcat) and David (O), the way this is going I figure that I will make the acquaintance of sever a l m o r e D avids bef ore I drop dea d

Some nice shots been posted lately,Thought I'd post one more!

A Warm summers day at Kyogle with the locals enjoying the local cricket match get disturbed as a Brisbane-Wollongong steelie rumbles through the township with 2 NR's and AN Class,The Daily Explorer between Casino-Kyogle waits to proceed to the station while the steelie clears the line.

Cheers Harry

Very nice! :)

A few of those square Safeworking signs will come in handy when/if I get started on the Swanbank branch. Just waiting on Jerker for the final OK and delivery of the DEM files.

21 Up Bundamba Coal

Hey,

@ Electro, just what I need for when the QHR team do the steam era Brisbane. I can not wait for the release date :D

@ HBL
; Mate, I have already done the branch in detail, for QGR Ipswich line, with all the stations

  • Bundamba Racecourse
  • Box Flat, QPSR Depot & Loop
  • Swanbank & Loop
I have custom made PB15 448 and carriages. Aswell as mapped out every level crossing, signal and speedboard. I was going to release QPSR 448 to QDR but I seem to not be able to upload anything due to my account getting blocked for some reason? :o I have recently revised the locomotive by using photo's from Jacobs QGT website dated from last year.

But it would be nice to compare routes.

With Regards
Michael G

Totally agree - the green slug was at its best when during WWII she was just in battleship grey

I thought it's nickname was the Green D***o, but anyhoo... :hehe: :hehe: :hehe:
Loco's did not earn there nick names from crews for nothing 38's Green Slugs - 36's Pigs - 35 Nannies's - and the name for the 53's includes words not to be used in this arena...

The 57s and 58s were called Lazy Lizzies #3801 was named after the grey nusre sharks I gave 3813 the nickname "pile of Sh*t":p due to it's curent status but i still like 3813

Not sure if you could call 3813 a locomotive anymore but more of a collection of locomotives spares or a loco jigsaw with many missing parts.

Number 13 lives up to its name as its not a good class member number for perserved steam locomotives in NSW.

Poor old 3013 is in as bad a state as 3813, just a pile of parts at Canberra - she was for a while owned by train buff and writer David Burke (another great David spoke to him a few times on visits to Cowra Loco depot and while doing research on steam trams) but she is now gifted to the ARHSACT.
