Australian screenshots

Hi all. I am a regular viewer here... but this is my first time posting a screenshot. I have customised much of the Wadalbavale route.. where these two shots were taken.

A V Set departs the new Wadalbavale Station, located a couple of hundred metres from the old station.

624/724 head for Coalcliff with an early morning service. This single station branch is mostly serviced by shuttles to Halley River, though some through trains to Wattle Creek are tabled in the peak. (by the way.. if anyone knows what is happening with the seats here.. also happens with DEB set and other coaches.. Please let me know. Thanks)

Postcards From The Deep North

G'day from Cairns, everyone;

if anyone was to meet up, just email me, I am here for 4 weeks

@Rastis Mate, all good now. I have had these settings since I bloody joined, if someone can get me some diagrams and some information on the locomotives that ran the tramway. Then I could break with traddion and make some ST Steam engines.

G'day!

I'm unable send you a PM, TDF says you don't recieve them. :(

Cheers! :)

G'day!

Here is the latest edition to my spin off of the Tarrawingee Line.

This is the town of Dandiri Creek. Population: 8.:hehe:

Dandiri is the Indigenous Australian Word for 'Saltbush'. So the name literally translates into 'Saltbush Creek'.

Would anyone know what type of stock would've run on it?

EDIT: Found out the the line was operated by the Silverton Tramway Company.

From what I'm aware the Silverton Tramway only ran three different classes of steam locomotive of the following types (I presume that section of track you modeled probably had disappeared by the time the Silverton dieselised with their Alco 830 class duplicates):

- Five Y class 2-6-0s which were virtually identical to the SAR Y class (which also ran in WA as the WAGR G class, Tasmania as the TGR C class, and Queensland as the QR AY class)
- three A class 4-8-0s of which I know little about (I presume in keeping with their other two classes were probably based on the SAR T class, although I'm probably wrong)
- four W class 4-8-2s which were duplicates of the famous WAGR W class engines, except the Silverton engines had some differences to their WAGR brethren, namely Westinghouse air brake equipment and a streamlined cowling along the top of the boiler, like the WAGR S class.

I admit I would love to see these engines in Trainz, but I'm still very much a 3D modelling novice so it's unlikely I'd ever be at a skill level able to do them justice sadly.

Hi, ziggyspectron,

Where did you get that platform shed? Welcome to trainz forum.
Cheers

Jason.

Sorry for asking this but is the whistle for Marl's 3801 alowed to be passed around?. I don't want the loco just asking

That would depend on whether the original owner of the recorder of the whistle's audio/video recording gives you permission to release it... I'm assuming you made it yourself?

Cheers
Stevo

Thanks for your welcome Harry and Jason :)

The platform buildings are NSW A6 Station buildings and the canopy spline is Platform roof gmp. Both are built in.

Cheers, Simon
