Muliebuck, the ballast siding is a very interesting idea, I wonder what are the piles of ballast you've used? I'll certainly download that one and like mattm, use it to drive my own Trainz experience. I'll also run a couple of shunts in the yard to get a feel for how you model.

Hmmm - duly noted, I'll see if I can't make a 'scratch board' of assorted textures, etc, to ensure a sort of 'uniformity' as it were for others. Railchase, the ballast pile is as follows... ballast pile2, KUID:35412:28003 built in to TRS2010, by the username of Mike10, I hope this helps :)

Thanks for the info, I look forward to my own ballast siding (or quarry, ehehe).

To our QLD Trainzers

Hope you are all ok Please stay safe, I sued to live in some of the areas hit by the floods very sad to see. Please stay safe everyone. North West Tasmania (which is where I'm living) is meant to be getting heavy rains during the next few days :(

Sitting right in the middle of it. Halfway between Toowoomba and Brisbane.
It's pretty bad around here, I am one of the lucky ones living fairly high up.
My driveway is a river now.

we are locked in untill the water goes down.

Thanks for thinking of us, much appreciated.

Cheers,

Bill.

Hey Bill, I lived in Toowoomba for a while a couple of years back, mate I can't believe what I'm seeing on the news hey just awful. I was born in QLD mate and have had family in Rockhampton and North Qld affected by the unbelieveable amount of rain being dumped in Qld. Please take care and pass on our thoughts to any aother QLD Trainzers you might know.

cheers,

CJ

P.S love your work on the DLS :)

looks pretty similar to what i just saw looking around a friends house except there was a raging torrent near there house

Pete,

Depending on what version of Trainz you are making it for, and on what type of loco, I think you should send Tony Weber a message as he made the steam loco engine sound that most steam locos with 09 e-specs seem to use these days.

Bill,

Glad to hear you're ok and well there, its awful what's happening in your area... Grantham is a mess. It's scary to think an area I have been recreating for Trainz is now totally flood bound.

Keep safe mate

Mark

G'day!

I hope you Queenslanders are safe up there in Brisvegas and the rest of Queens. Just saw the news report on the floods. Best of luck from Adelaide! :)

Cheers! :)

Jake.

Glug, glug, glug,

Only thing that worries me is having a clear signal to gain access to the net. Connection is fine, signal is jammed or either well and thoroughly water logged.
