who made the suburban sets?

speaking of diesel refuels, some time ago I modelled the Grafton refuel centre, (3 refuel points). Is it possible to script this so it actively refuels locos? and is there anyone here who knows how to do it? if so I am happy to send the mesh of the static model to them for upgrading and for them to release it under their kuid

cheers
pete

If you send the mesh over here Pete, I can have a play with it if you want :)

Pretty sure I've got a script here that'll do it. There's gotta be something on those art source CD's that'll work :) Would release under VicTrainz kuid.

Pete, the S and M sets were made by Cjennin, and are (or were, haven't been there for a while) available from the Razorback Railway website.

Tallmike, thanks for the shots. Much appreciated, and I shall study them in detail.

Cheers,

Matt.

First set from me for 2011 - just messing around with different angles and focal points.

So, I just wanna thank Ghostryder for being awesome. He's helped me out a lot lately, both inside and outside Trainz related stuff.

Mate, I can't thank you enough for your advice. Your helpful attitude is extremely welcome, and I'm sure there's so many other people here who think so too. Thank you. :D :Y:

I just thought I would support these sentiments as well.

I have had Ghosty contact me and help out with a number of problems either with Trainz and more recently about computer problems. His helpful attitude and the time he has been willing to take to help out another member is a sign that the "Community spirit" is still very healthy.

Thanks Ghosty.

Hi Pete,

I suggest working south from Casino towards Grafton and Coffs Harbour region, please.

I also will be happy with what ever you decide as your lines work well in my Trainz 2010.

Late EDIT; Pete Gibbons and other folk who add material to the download station need to remember that all your work for us is pure gift to us so you should decide your next creation according to what gives you creative pleasure; so Pete Gibbons, if your creative juices says Picton then go Picton or wherever you get the most pleasure.

Thanks

Just as a note for this interested in this area of NSW. I'll probably get back into finishing the Picton to Moss Vale section of the main south line after Ive reached the Qld border in my current North Coast Line project.
OR
should I work south from Casino towards Grafton & Coffs ???

Breaking my Silence & Some New Items

Hi Everyone,

Now to break my silence: I am getting along well in the tough time, but working on my Q.G.R B13 project [I have dedicated it to my Uncle-George, which I will put a plate on the right-center valances of No.48]. This is a special memorial project for him and it Mitchy who inspired the whole B13 idea. Cheers Mate!

Pete; if you have the time, I could really use your help for correcting the frames, axleboxes and cabin. If you can please email me, your help would mean alot to me, and brighten me up a little more.:Y:

FANTASTIC EVERYONE, AND I HOPE I DIDN'T MISS ANYTHING?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now an exclusive; a few new items have arrived for Q.G.R from Walkers Lmtd & Ipswich Railway Workshops. They range from 1935 Sunshine Carriages, QR C19 4-8-0; THE MOST POWERFUL NON-ARTCULATED LOCOMOTIVE IN QLD, and a Q.G.R "L" Class sheep wagon (John Morty). So here is little teaser of the two of them;

31 Up

Hello Everyone,

Mitch, I hope by mid-year and near my birthday. We could have nearly all the coaching stock, the major Steam Classes from QR B13 then to a C19 right up to BB18 and 3/4 of the goods stock used by Queensland Government Railways. I guess I have gone further than Mark Jackson, but we will see :)

Regarding the B13; I will release 2 versions as following:
  • Preseved Q.G.R B13 Kiston No.48
  • Q.G.R B13 No.90 When In Service {possible weathered edition but we will see also this is the one my great-uncle worked on}
I would really like Pete to help out with the general corrections. Since this is dedicated to my uncle-george and it is really special because he was a former driver with the Q.G.R in the late 1930's to 1950's; his last steam locomotive as a rostered driver was a little B13 shunter at Ipswich Workshops.

Michael: Very kind of you. I'm looking forward to the B13 and other rolling stock greatly. :)

G'day all,
I've created a set of timber platforms based on NSWGR design, but suitable for just about anywhere in Australia, possibly even overseas. Thus far I have created two ramps, an intermediate section for a full width platform raised above the level of the courtyard. I hope to produce over the future more platforms to join the set. They are available now on Victrainz under the Content Release Announcements forum.
Cheers,
Evan.

This afternoon ZR ran the final train on the ZR branchline for 2010. The train was run as a mixed, so as to take locals (who didn't catch an earlier pass) to the New Years eve celebrations at the terminus.

Due to the F class and 'AB' car being required for the service, two new 'dual coupled' WT wagons were required, since the majority of ZR stock is auto-coupled.

Here we see the train passing the very overgrown ZR ballast siding.

Hope you all have a happy new year!
