Hi All,

These are coming along rather nicely Sarail. Awesome stuff!!

The Brill will look right at home on the Melton Valley route I'm building. To keep the vibe and good nature of this thread going, a couple of old random shots from said route.

Ghosty, amazing shots as always! :) Here's a couple more from me at Borallon on the DEM based Brisbane Valley Line. Willem2's fantastic station has found two passengers.

Hi Nick and all.

Glad The Brill shots worked out well. Am happy to do any testing :):D:):D
The Trailers will look mighty fine I reckon.

Thanks, SARRailways :D:):D:)

G'day guys, there's been some nice shots posted today, particularly by you, Forest_Runner.

Thanks for sharing guys.

Matt.

Kenneth, looks absolutely amazing mate, and I agree with others, some brilliant screenshots - only issue I have Kenneth, is I'd kick that drivers tail from Brisbane to Yarraman and back, if he DARED go past that Trailing Facing Point indicator, with an indication like that :)

Hi all! Just some shots from the small portion of my layout I'm working on. It goes from Cowan to Wondabyne but I've only landscaped a very small bit between Boronia Tunnels No.1 and 2. :o

Jackford, if you read what he said at the beginning of his post.... "Just some shots from the small portion of my layout I'm working on" meaning it is not finished yet.

Very nice images there Fred3801 !

Somewhere in Southern NSW

I meant Northern NSW !!!

A major coastal river, once had twin rail bridges and a branch line heading west which was never built. No prizes for guessing where.

BEST CLARKSON QUOTE EVER!!!
Oh wait, I forgot "When in doubt, get a hammer":hehe:

There are some aspects of Trainz (namely sound) that are just like classic Top Gear- "Ambitious, but rubbish":hehe:

Now back on topic, I remember using some Cityrail platforms in TRS2006, but I can't find them in Trainz 2010. I think they were called (eg)"Cityrail platform 5.0m" and they looked really good. Now they're gone and I would like them back. Any help greatly appreciated!:D

Have fun playing the best train game........ in the world!;)
Scott.
(P.S. That's another Top Gear joke in my sign-off)

Scottling, the platforms you're searching for are by Deadly (i'm pretty sure.)
PGibbons and Bearcat245, nice pictures.

Matt.

If you using the 60 class that is under the name of Comtrain there is no need to change the enginespec at all it's all ready been approved by many an ex driver as being very close to spot on.

Remember Peter's (AD602000) locomotives are designed for 2004 so when you are using them in 2009 they will not operate as they were designed to by Peter.

As to the tenders they are on the DLS remember they are a trs2004 build and both 58 and 59 use the same tender, but as per NSW practice any tender will do most of the time anyway.

Hi All
No engine spec should be on the DLS under my username "comtrain"
This is a fault in the DLS. Searching comtrain should not find anything, because not being a creator, I have never uploaded anything.
My good mate ad602000 Peter C is donating his magnificent uploads to my non existant upload folder.
So best that when you see comtrain there search Kuid 1854 or 80% of the time ad602000 :)

VicTrainz is a user group we set up a few years ago. I as acting secretary set up a Victrainz group KUID = 1854.
The DLS should only show Victrainz, the defect picks from a list of 10 members of the group allowed to upload using Kuid 1854 . The names are picked at random, and searching a name will get you a different result at any other time.
Cheers
Rod

I'm afraid I must correct you on one thing Bearcat, the 58's did not ever use the 59 class tenders. The 58's were very large engines and the shorter 59 class tender would have useless to this engine. The 58's used a large tender simlar if not the same as the 57's as both were long distance, heavy haulage locomotives.

If think, but may be wrong, that the 59's had the smaller tenders to allow them to be turned on a 60ft turntable.

The 57s and 58s could never have used 59 class tenders. Both the 57s and 58s used mechanical stokers. The fireman just had a bunch of handles to adjust the flow of the coal into the firebox from the tender.

For those not knowing what I'm on about, a mechanical stoker is basically a huge winding screw at the bottom of the tender, which feeds the coal into the firebox. The fireman just has to adjust the flow and various other things to get the locos firing well.

For a 57 or 58 class to not use one would probably require two firemen! Sometimes the 38s working hard on a grade would have the fireman working flat out. The 57s and 58s dwarf the 38s!
