LittleBondi, have another look. 3801 is a pacific type of steamer, as noted by its 4-6-2 wheel arrangement. The screenshot is not a pacific!
hi mates
i personally would love to see this in TRAINZ. that loco would give us a lot of fun operations.

Lineside; Beaudesert

Hello Everyone,

@Littlebondi; Well that is quite interesting, what era are you planning to model? Steam?, Desiel?, Short Lived Beaudesert Rail Era? Current Dereliction

As The Beaudesert Branch was built in 1883, and was always 42lb rail and could only be traversed by QR B13, B15, B15 Converted & PB15 in the steam days. Logan Village was the junction until 1955 for the Cunungra Branch. Double heading stock trains were common along the line hauled by two PB15's to the Beaudesert Meatworks. Beaudesert had its passenger service removed during the course of the 1960's, it was always behind a Red Railmotor and the 1800 class.

During the desiel era, the line mainly headed by 60ton Branchline Desiels such as the DH, 1620, 1700, and 1720's. The last two noted worked the line right up to closure of the line. The line remained 42lb.

The line was never a C17 branch, until when beaudesert rail came along requested that in SOME sections that the line be upgraded to 60lb and 90lb rail in certain places. The Majority of the branch is PB country & 1720 only lines.

Btw, my long standing project in trainz, Queensland Railways South Coast takes up a small portion of the Beaudesert Branch from the junction at Bethania to Waterford Station. Maybe we could link up in the near future.

I wish you all the best. Good luck. :D

Michael Gitsham

Um, No I didn't ask for a PB15 trainz89, I actually said that I am a C17 fan and I am not to keen on PB15's but to see it looking like that makes me suprised. But, For my Beaudesert Branch Line route that I am creating at the moment I would take it as I have a picture of PB15 no. 444 on the old turntable at Beaudesert.

Thanks for that trainz89, I never knew that the Beaudesert Branch was mainly PB15's and b13's. That explains why I always only see photo's of PB15's on the line. You mentioned Beaudesert Rail upgrading the track for the C17 they got, I have a few pictures of the year 1920 were a few C17's were on the line. Also about your southcoast line, It would be great if we linked them up. I have made the Bethania station But as long as yours is ok we can link em up shore. What does the Waterford station look like to. I never knew there was a station for Waterford on the line. Although I have noticed a old wooden hut sitting on the side of a hill just outside Waterford on the line. it may be it and I was going to have a look at it once but that was snake season and after that I lost interest in it. Also about what era I am doing, As I have said on my thread I am planning to model around 1950's, 60's 70's, Before the deisels mainly wich is steam era as you said. And also about your PB15 trainz89, I have actually decided to download it. How long "at the longest" should it take to download it. I waited 3 hours before giving up on the download as I neaded some other objects more ergently. And also yes Beaudesert Rail was a very short time. They ran trainz from 2002 - 2005. One obvious place they upgraded the track to is at waters creek bridge. I roe on the line myself and still have the tracks and trains video they made of them rebuilding the line. I was also wondering trainz89 if you could help me make the C17 967. Instead of it being black or red I was thinking I could paint it blue like how Beaudesert rail had it.

I guess i never got the memo saying we were in a race on who will get the maps out first. My work has survived fried hard drives two fried computers long durations of no internet, illness corrupted files not to mention a long bout with depression which i still fight daily.

But i do have some constructive comments on the shot you listed as Pinkenba look at the maps and plans and you will see what you did wrong. Regarding my work maybe i should give you a heads up. Roma St Module Ferny Grove Module Shorncliffe to Northgate Modules have gone to beta testers and the early responses i have been given the level of work shown has blown many away. Oh BTW Ipswich Line and Wooloowin to Northgate including Pinkenba will in the next three weeks also go for beta testing leaving just Petrie and the South Brisbane hub to be completed.I may have been offline but the work never stopped.
Not bad considering i am the only one working on my project.
Now back to a couple of screenshots.

The kind of View i got from Grandma's place.

Goodna.

@Ghosty; Its all in a bit of friendly rivialry, you are working on Brisbane Network, we are doing the same; just joking around. No need to scream and shout. We are all having fun here, why be so serious. :P

Everything will be refined over time, and its actually based on as it currently. We just added Pinkenba station, just for ****s and gigs. We are having fun, and having a bit of laugh along the way.

Not so bad yourself mate, I like the DD17 shot with the 3 car SX set. That tour did a run to Gibson Island also, it was on the Down To The Bay. I would not mind a copy of that for the project. Steam Train Sunday around the Pinkenba Loop!! :D

Btw, I am about to release a 3ft 6in version of my PB15.

hi ghosty
i remember those days with the circus parked there very well.
always was fun for a kid to go to the circus.

my apologies for not posting more screens of the fassifern valley line,
but my pc died when something came in with an email from a friend of my wife's.
the virus checker never picked it up.
my hdd is being reformatted right now.
i was able to save for backup from that disk most of the trainz stuff

it will be a few days before i can be ready to work on the route again
