Purchased Port 2012...,downloaded...,found 4 files/folders in
my download "box", have 4, one is, I am sure should open to install
sim. but will not open. Read... " You should rename
file" not clear.
Trainz Sim..., this is last time I spend $$$$. on Your web site.
Extremelly dissatisfied with the instalations. Your site sell products that
leave to imaginations of buyers how to to install. Shame on You.
I have purchased "Much 2" but that will not install, on and on,with no success,and now "port 2012".
Commnn.... I have purchased TZ 09/10/12...
Central Sim,if You do sell a product,make enjoyble for customer.
Don,t make me change end of files from here to there and everywhere in between.
You make $,so make experience purchasing game enjoyble.

Jack,

I see your point and agree with you. However, the fix is simple - R-click on the file, Rename, and add ".exe" so it reads "filename.exe" and then click on it as normal, and the installer should start.

download using free .....might the way to go. As long as I pay, I should expect
installing sims,should a breeze,....cause there are other sites selling same entartement.

Bob,

He said that on clicking he gets a message to rename the file, so it isn't hidden file extensions (which wouldn't prevent running the file anyway). I DL'd Murchison2 and the file wouldn't run, just as Jack says, until I added ".exe", when it installed perfectly. I don't know the other one (Port2012), but I suspect the problem installing is the same. If not, at least he gets Murchison2.

This most likely is either your browser or security software interfering with the download, in a misguided effort to "protect" you. Murchison 2 is presented to the browser as "Murchison2_Installer.exe". Trainz 12 has 6 total files to download, the smallest of which is presented to the browser as "setup.exe", and that is the file that needs to be clicked on once all 6 files have finished downloading.

Can you please tell me the names of all the files that you have downloaded?
