Any Ideas?

I've been wanting to build a model railroad, I have all the things I need except one thing, layout ideas, I can't think of any ideas for the track work placement. So, does anyone have ANY ideas at all? Thanks in advance!

For virtual and physical model railroads there are a number of books available. 101 Track plans, Track plans for realistic operation, and so on.

For physical model railroads add how to build bench work, wiring, cab control, DCC, and so on. Most are advertised in Model Railroader Magazine.
