The autopatches are available for the earliest version of TS2009 and I think SP1. After that I think the latest is a manual patch. I'm not sure because I no longer us TS2009.
If you want to run TS2009 and not see the "unfinished material in it, run it in compatibility mode. This will eliminate the alpha channel error that plagues trees and other objects that use it. This issue has been subsequently solved in TS2010 and through the use of Speed Treez, which are not available yet for TS2009.
I recommend that you register your programs online lin your Planet Auran profile. This will not only let you retrieve a serial number in case you lose the case or user manual, but it also lets us know what version you have just in case you have questions.
