How to search in the Content Store

This may seem basic, but I'm at a loss:
Newsletters almost always announce assets one supposedly can "search for" in the Content Store. But I see no search field or button, or keyboard shortcut for that matter, in the Content Store. If you want to find something, you have to scroll through the whole list until you find it, if you do.
Anyone has a clue?
