The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Nice shots here again, Rick, Enzo, Jack ... ! CNSD40MRT, don't you feel there is too much saturation in your screenshot which makes colors unreal from the real world ? Otherwise they are good !

Here are two shots from my Quebec Central route.

I don't feel like there's too much saturation. That's how CN always painted the orange on their locomotives and the orange was based off of when a locomotive was brand new. It's supposed to look like that. I think, there's something wrong with your computer settings or something. No offence.

CNSD40MRT, your 7792 doesn't look too bad. They didn't stay looking like too long though. On some of the units the red faded to an almost pinkish tint, probably from the detergents used to wash them.

Pierre, that first shot is a winner! Awesome job on that one! It looks like a real miserable day. Reminds me of a day just last week when it poured the whole day. It was dark enough you needed lights on in the house. Great work! The second shot looks terrific too. You've got a real talent for producing beautiful screen shots.

And here's one from me. A couple of 1400's heading back to the yard with some loaded hoppers.

Cheers,
Jack

Rick, you might just be getting started with that new route but it looks like it's going to be good. It's going to be interesting watching as it progresses.

Neil, Jonwray, great shots from both of you. I look at all these terrific shots, forget that they're only screen shots and then I try to pan around to see more. Good to see what you're showing us at any rate!

Here, the west end beltpack is working hard as 214 rumbles by.

Cheers,
Jack

Oh boy Erik, those are lovely shots from you. The first one is indeed great! That SD40 looks perfect. I'll be having that working on my route soon too! Thanks for posting. It's always nice to see your stuff.

Dragonharh, thanks for showing us the video of the Halifax sub. Interesting to see how your route is going with the train in action on it.

Cheers everybody,
Jack

Miserable weather this weekend so I found some time to work on the route a little.
CP westbound with CN Chappell Yard in the distance to the south.

My new toys from Adamovic and RR Mods. Getting into the cab of the 5241 was just like being back at work - only I didn't get dirty

Cheers,
Jack
