Who was at the Ipswich Railway Workshops, Qld on the 6/11?

Yep, I was! And if you didn't, here's what you missed out on: A world record attempt at the longest toy train track! It was made using the new "Trackmaster" range of Thomas trains. Despite that, it was very impressive! The track had about 20 spirals, each about 10 tracks high, and was 2104 metres long! I had to leave when Thomas was about half way. I also helped the kids drive the simulator in the diesel cab.

Here is a link to the Railway Workshop's web site page about the record attempt: http://www.theworkshops.qm.qld.gov....nts/2010/11/Thomas+Track+World+Record+Attempt

Also, on the train back, I met someone who showed interest in trains and Trainz, and I gave him some information about the simulator and website. I hope to see him using the simulator and the forums soon!
