White lines through textures

Since I've started replacing textures with PBR textures I've noticed all these white lines appearing through out the scenery
mainly on hills etc where contour changes occur. Not seeing it on flat level ground
Any idea whats causing it

I have yet to try using PBR textures but my understanding, limited as it is from reading the posts in these forums on the topic, is the PBR textures are designed more for close work i.e. close to the track or in the immediate area of the track. Placing them on distant hills may be overkill and perhaps is not what they are designed for. Just a thought and my ignorant opinion only.

If the lines are straight and form rectangles (of 720 by 720 dimensions) then what you are seeing is the new 'border texture fill feature' encroaching on the joins between several baseboard tiles in that area of your route.
Very annoying phenomenon introduced last year to both T:ANE and TRS19 which can be rectified by painting suitable textures from the surrounding area over the lines where they occur to hide them.

The lines are random and only showing where terrain has been raised or lowered and PBR textures used

There is also a problem in close up work where PBR textures are allowing you to see through the board as well as the terrain changing shape as you pass it

In the shots below you can see where the PBR texture is fine from straight on but you can see through it from an angle or drivers view

The problem of PBR textures having issues with sudden changes in the terrain height is a known one. According to the people at N3V you have to do some "careful fiddling" and need patience.

What I see here is unfilled areas where the baseboard grid lines are showing though the filled in areas. Every grid line intersection on the ground must be painted 100%. When you paint with the textures, it will not always paint the grid intersections at 100%, thus leaving some unpainted or partially painted grid lines. You must paint all the grid intersections at 100% so the areas in between don't get left 'greyed' or 'unpainted' and only partially painted as your picture shows.

I fully painted the entire area which made no difference to the see through effect
The grid is at 5m changing it to 10m only made it worse

5m fully painted

I finally got it to disappear but only after removing
The Cliff Spline ,Retaining Wall , Rocks and Tunnel Portal . But the terrain changing shape as you moved past it remained

It's a new 'feature' of TRS19.

PBR does not like sharp terrain changes.....

Also the PBR textures on 3D meshes can go all funny and slide about when you look at them from oblique (shallow) angles. I made a simple cylindrical test object (a log) with parallax PBR texture that displayed this problem. I it to Windwalkr to see if he could work out why it was misbehaving. Have not heard back from him yet.
