Just a single loco, a circle of track, a few signals, location markers, 'Drive To' commands on a flat, one texture ground-cover route.
No more AI/Driver trains backing out of 'Drive To' queues that can't be restarted (missing 'Continue Schedule' command).
No more AI/Driver trains being dumped out of 'Enhanced Interlocking Towers' on pseudo-Autopilot.
No more 'Direction Markers' working 95% of the time.
No more locked signals after deleting a 'Force Signal On' marker.
No more empty 'Tracking Block Rule' signals list.
No more locked signals after deleting a 'Signal Link'.
No more 'Commodity' icons, (that's commodities plural), displaying a blurred 'Trainz' icon.
No more default icons in 'Edit Session' on Built-in 'Commands' like 'Variable Show'.
No more 'Priority Markers' working 95% of the time.
No need to use the DOWNGRADED 'Mini-Map', 'M' command, which is now little more than a 'Jumped Up' roaming view.
No more built-in 'Unload' icon that defaults to a blurred 'Trainz' icon in Driver.
No more Drivers who change appearance. I mean you Scott, (Has long blonde hair and lipstick in 'Driver' and a cap and short dark hair in 'Driver Setup').
No more empty 'Description' fields on assets in Download Manager. (Auran/N3V)
No more empty 'Static Block Rule' signals list.
No more 'Ruler' lines that can all but disappear in 'Wire Frame' view in some circumstances.
No more having the 'track Profile Settings' control disappear behind its own pop-up preventing its close by the control in Driver.
No need to change 'Track Profile Settings' each and every time I start a session. I can cope with CTRL+H.
No more need to CTRL+RClick a loco to 'Continue Schedule' because the 3 vertical ellipses 'Change Control Mode' control does not.
No more jump-ups/downs on and off road bridges/crossings etc. (Reminds me of local roads though)
No more near impossible setting of desired and exact 'commodity' levels/use ratios in some animated assets.
No more having to click off the first train in focus at session start to get the Up/Down cursor keys to work.
No more built-in 'Portals' that occasionally freeze the game.
No more having Trainz default a 'Named' Train back to its' default name after passing through a 'Portal'.
No more bridge pylons that hover above ground level with the new ground bump Textures.
No need to create a run time clock with 'variables' to help pinpoint/fault-find latest session fail.
No more having 'Smooth Spline Height' control dipping the track further and further on each application.
No more finding textures that have 'Popped' since the last save.
No more searching 'Download Manager' in the hope of finding updated/FIXED, assets.
No more downloading an asset only to discover it's 'Faulty' or missing 'Dependences' some of which are no longer available.
No more new saved Route/Sessions that suddenly quadrupled+ load times thereafter. Save now, Save often, Save multiple versions!
No more spending hours and hours trying to work around bugs, faulty assets, missing dependences, limited rules and 'Trainz' logic.
The PERFECT RAILR... hang on, my Loco is now backing around the circle!
Spoke too soon, need to simplify more!
Perhaps a stationary loco on a short piece of straight flat track just might do it?
Might solve the intermittent stutter problem when roaming or following moving trains though.
Oh well, what's another 20 years trying to build the perfect 'Trainz' railroad.
