When did you really join?

As below, I joined on August 31, 2002. From memory I did not use the Forum much if at all for some months after this.

The old Forum brings back a lot of memories of good and some sad times. I often wonder what many of the older members are now doing and when seeing there names on the DLS, I remember their contribution to the Forum and Trainz.

EDIT: I am not sure when my Monkey joined, even if he is not really a Monkey, nor am I sure when I started using the Smiles ( ) with my name. My Name and Smiles only change for sad times.

even though i havnt been around the forums long, i orignally bought trainz driver in either 2006 or 2007 (i cant remember which) and for a time it got boreing, then in 2008 i got bored an reinstalled it and thats when i saw that trainz 2009 was coming out and decided to buy that and thats hopw im here now

I bought TRS2006 in what was a Circuit City in late-2006, or early 2007, I can't remember and it was after I had quit MSTS and joined the forums in November 2008, I remember when I was being obnoxious when I first joined.

Oh, Teddytoot what have you done! I've spent most of the afternoon searching though my records for the date I joined. And I still have not found the answer.

All I remember it was the year TRS2004 had just come out and had 2 patches, I think. It would seem I joined in the year 2004.

I bought Trainz locally after a Google search one slow thursday afternoon and from the list I picked Trainz. I picked up the phone and asked the Auckland shop if they had a copy of Trainz. Yes, they did, and they could have it out by courier that afternoon. Next morning Trainz was in the mailbox and the world changed.

I have not been the same since, I had just decided to retire from my business and had been wondering what to do to keep my brain active. I've bought every version of Trainz since and now have TS2010 and enjoyed them all.

I shall shortly be 76 in February and I hope for many more happy years with Trainz. I spend most of my time in Surveyor building routes. Its adictive. None on the DLS I'm afraid.

I figure it ws on Planet Auran somewhere. July 16th 2003 officially, had it for a while longer before though.

December 2004/January 2005 I think. I can't remember the exact date anymore, only that it couldn't have been before I got my current computer, which was at the end of 2004, although I purchased Trainz 1.3 several months before then (the previous system I was using had no hope of running Trainz sadly).

Later I upgraded to TRS04, and despite other distractions popping up from time to time, I've been with Trainz ever since.

In late 2001 I had Dogpiled MSTS to see what was new and saw a reference to Trainz. As soon as I could find a copy at the store I got it, v1.3 as I recall.
