What happened to all the DLS content ?

Couple of months ago I reinstalled Trainz 2009 in a new computer. Found the
content list in DLS had gone from 122618 Items to around 7000 Items.
Now at the bottom right of Content Manager v2.0, it states that 9060 of
23866 Items Displayed. There were several Items I wanted to download that are no longer listed. Did a search for the items I was looking for but
message stated "No Downloads found" Also Can't find the items on the
DLS web site. Went back to the old computer, opened content manager v2.0 and it states 122618 of 137241 Items, with the items listed that I need.
Don't feel safe conecting that computer to the internet and trying to download as I might loose the list of 122618 Items.
Has our list of Downloadable Items become much less because of no more
auran support for older content ? One Item I am looking for is;
Aircraft Hanger 01 Kuid2:50587:9810:1 author; colhad

Hope someone has some Ideas on what has happened to all the content.

Nothing it's all still there, 149830 according to CM3 in 2010. 2009 will be pretty close as there isn't that much specifically for it.
May need to do an extended database repair or, If using Vista or Win7 it needs to be installed and run as administrator or all sorts of odd things happen or don't as the case may be.

The Aircraft Hanger is there by the way.

Thanks,

I will try the extended Database repair. I was hoping it was just me.
Didn't want to think we had lost that much content.

Did the Extended Database Repair. Didn't help me. During the repair,
Item count went to 10352 of 25174 items displayed. Do now have a new
problem, In the Content Manager main window, every item now has a big
? mark under status. Tried to download some items, and that works fine,
but every item in Download helper has the ? mark beside every item untill after it is downloaded. Then changes to the small computer screen to show is is now on my machine.

Any other Ideas on what might be happening. Sure would be nice to at least see the total 25174 item that show as listed. The 10352 doesn't give
me much to pick from.
Guess I had better keep the old computer working for now, as I can download on it and then transfer to the new computer using save to CDP.

Thank you

Sorry, I forgot to post that I have Windows XP on both computers.

If the only way to get the correct Item count listed is to do a reinstall of
Trainz 2009, I will just use the old computer for now, to download from
DLS, as I am short on time
and had trouble on
first install getting all of my content into the new machine.

Thanks,

I had to reinstall 2009 a couple of days ago and I had to do an extended database repair a couple of times before I could get CM2 to find about 122,000 + items out there. It still isn't finding all of them for some reason.

On the other hand, if you go to the DLS outside of CM2 it will probably show less than 20,000 items. If you look for something specifice that CM2 isn't showing, the DLS will probably find it.

Very frustrating sometimes.

If you have the two PC's Networked, just copy the working install across to the other PC and overwrite everything, I did that with 2009 to save running the patches on a second install.

Hi,

on my CM3 (TS2010) only newer content is listed, when a "category" filter is applied. If you remove all filters, everthing seems to be there, but older content is always listed as "misc".

Does a database repair remedey that? So far I havn't dared to try it.

Cheers
