Walk through for the Session for HarborMaster - "NewBee"

Hi Giggsy --

"or is it just artistic license?"

Yes.

" ... just wondered if there were going to be pop up instructions as i went."

No pop-ups. You can tackle this session any way you want to. Please don't feel as if you must follow the sequence exactly as shown in the screen shotz. If you can work out a better way of accomplishing the tasks then do it that way. After all, that why we only employ only top men on our railroad - the ones that can think for themselves.

If you are using TS2009/10 you can print out the instructions:
Fire up the Content Manager, CM.
In the main screen scroll down to the session.
Right click and choose the option at the bottom to open the config.txt file.
Copy and paste the text in the quotes after "description" into eg Word or Notepad.
Print out.

Many thanks Phil.
The route looks great, and runs very well for me at the moment. Being new and all, i saved a few times early on when i saw approaching trains (Dont want to get the sack on my first day!) but realised that after unloading the logs, a few AI Trains had stopped moving to the South of me. I remembered then, that someone mentioned a known issue may be AI trains behaving strangely after you interac with various industries.
I guess its best to save before every interaction?.Am i right in thinking that IF something dose go wrong with the AI it wont necessarily happen again after loading the save point and re starting.?
Anyway..thanks again for a great layout, and good sessions to hone our skills.
Giggsy.

Didnt get the problem above anymore after doing a quick save before each industry interaction.
It ran really well and was a great introduction for me, to your wonderful world of Routes and Sessions.
It took me...Ahemm...Err.....4 Hours 15mins.
Better safe than sorry on a new track i guess:D
