Update on Los Angeles Crash: Locomotive Engineer Trainer in Cab with Driver Dead
It seems that the engineer driving the train was actually being trained to drive commuter trains and the trainer, who was with the trainee in the 'front cab' when the train collided with the truck. The trainer's death has completely changed this crash, resulting in the driver of the truck possibly being charged with 'vehicular manslaughter'.
