Union Pacific Screenshots Thread

I just went into the game and done it :D , I'll post three pics showing how its done in a couple mins;) ...hang on...

EDIT: OK, here's the "how to" lesson for the week;) ...

After you make a field, go into cut & paste mode and select a section you want to copy...
lginc_20100115_0025.jpg

Now just drag the section that you cut & pasted to the area you want to put it...

Now just paste it, as many times as needed, THATS IT!

Now thats enough of the lessons:hehe: , lets get this thread back on track with UP screenshots, lessons are for another section of this forum:p .

BTW, TS2009 ROCKS!

Yes it is(it was introduced in TRS 2004 I believe) you can paste Height and Textures as well as objects, and don't forget you can rotate your pasted selection for a more random effect.

I knew about everything you mentioned Hert, EXCEPT that that option was in versions below TS09, Thank you for the info Hert!:)

Just a couple shots from the "Rollins Pass" route. Since I have been posting Steamers, here are the last two steamers I use, BOTH are outstanding, and these also are the first FREEWARE engines i have posted since page 3 of this thread...that I can remember anyways:p . Sadly for the life of me I cant remember where I got either of these from, but they are real good quality engines:D .

Your first pic is from steammachine.com. Ben's (subpar) awesome freeware steam locos.
But you got a different tender then the one it came with:hehe:

Hert, Your exactly right:o ...:hehe: , funny thing, i was able to get the engine to work in my game, but oddly not the tender. The tender has a story too, If i remember right its from a UP 0-6-0, in this case i got the tender to work but not the engine:confused: , so I put both these together. Its a shame about the tender to the 4-4-2, that engine is exceptionally good, a real bargain for freeware:D .

EDIT: There is a TON of Great freeware engines out there, and I DO use them:D , but 99.9% of my posts contain Payware engines, why? , because everybody and their brother uses freeware, its posted all over, so posting payware is just my way of showing support to those places that create UP/UP associated Payware, I give them a HUGE THANKS! :D

It might have been a bad download because it works fine in my TRS 2009 with no errors or warnings. Delete and redownload and it should work

Andrew, I have two cabforwards in HO, one from Intermoutain, the other is a Riverossi:D .

I know i have mentioned this before, but my HO collection would literally knock the socks right off you folks;) , sadly because of the economy my son and I have had to move into a small apartment now, so my whole HO empire is just stored in box's, waiting for better days:( .

On the bright side though, the situation has brought me to Trainz:D . I have come to really love Trainz and honestly am beginning to wish I had not spent THOUSANDS of dollars on HO stuff through the years:confused: , I'm having just as much fun with Trainz as I did doing HO, and Trainz just takes up space on your computer, and is THOUSANDS of dollars cheaper;) ...think about it folks.

Back to the program...
I cant believe I forgot about this freeware steamer, its really quite awesome but for some odd reason i dont use it much:eek: , probably because I usually run big steam if i'm running steam. the shot of it is from the Rollins pass route.
