I love that stope model, there's a lot of square sets in there, and with your animated miners it would just look so great I can imagine, that I'm start to drool just with the thought about it. :udrool:

There was a thread on the Chicago Tunnel system...If you guys put your heads together you'd have a whoppper of a layout and ideas !

Hi,

Please don't put anything into it, but I've dug up two old screenshots from TRS2004..

This is how I used to make my models years back, a track spline looking like a tunnel connected to models where I had to manually make the junction inside a shell type model of a tunnel junction.
Due to the hassle to set it up, it was kept private only, and still is as I no longer work actively with Trainz.

Here's the Mancha driving around... :hehe:

Just sharing images of my old models, I think lilb makes lot of new wonderful looking models and you have better chance there to get the hands on them then at you have of my old.

I hope he will share his test map in the future, because it looks like I can have fun with his models better then with mine, as he done so much more according to what Ive read.

That loco is available, both on the DLS and the TPR download depot as a outside the mine and inside the mine version - couldn't get a single version to work as I lost the source files.
It's the 18 inch Mancha.

The track/tunnel, well, who needs that...

I have had a few ask for it over the years, maybe it's time to share it with a few people.
I check back in a few days and maybe the very few that want it will be lucky? :wave:

Now, back to your stuff lilb, sorry for the intrusion.

Yes, I would be very surprised to see how many are interested, so far I think I know about 3 persons, maybe it been 4 in total over the years.

But, I might have some news for those 4, at least in regarding the tunnel spline, stay tune for news from the underground in hopefully a couple of days or so. :wave:

Over to lilb and his mining system, he's further on with his, and he's still active as far as I can tell, while I'm old "news"..

Straight to the motherload!

Tunnels get you there, but where is the motherload (underground loading depot)? This would have to be in a tunnel too I think, as you can see from the pictures I posted, the only way I could get the loading depot placed is to open the ground above it! Tell me, you have made a hidden underground industry?

Yes I have made an underground industry. At the stope on the upper track you unload the mine car, then on the lower track you load mine cars and take them out of the mine to the ore bin outside. There is also other loading areas for waste rock, supplies, and other things that a mine may need.

The stope (a few posts above) and this stope are both mining industries. These pictures are where the miners load hand pushed ore cars by shovel. Then push the ore car to the stope in the post above. Where they would transfer the ore to side dumping ore cars in a mine train of 4 to 6 cars. Yes this will be released, but I don't have a release date.


Here is where the load the hand pushed mine cars. The track with the mine engine is just a track that passes by.

Hi,

I know it aint much, and as pointed out in this thread already, but for those who cares and haven't noticed it yet, the basic mine tunnel spline track I've used in my screenshots here and earlier times/years is now at the Download Depot at TPR, and at Auran DLS....

It's acting like a regular track, so you need to dig a hole in the grid with another item.

It matches my other recent 18 inch track, the MRT type.

Industries, can't help much as the one I have don't function to well due to script problems, and no real interest to stress around with it...
Best hope is still lilb - but for those non TS2009 users, the tunnel track is as the other track of mine, TRS2004 stuff.

Ferry nice screenshots.

I am also making a mining tunnel.

This is the first test. I need to ad soms polys to make rocks. It is now too flat. I also have maked the kipcar. The loco is from the DLS.

I go make also the underground industry. The track is now an 1 metre spline.
