Might actually help if I posted this with my correct TS12 account.I would use more often, but the quality of it, versus the built-in SP SD45, ATSF SD45, etc. looks inferior to me. Blech!
Go into the thing with CMP and re-assign the cab KUID. Its just that simple...
If you have the right cab let me know what it is As I do use that Loco, Thanks frogpipeHmmm. Nothing? Not one comment? Not even a smart a$$ed one? Weird.
Does no one use the loco? I don't normally, I just found it as a result of doing research on it's interior. After looking over it's code (the actual DD40 interior that is) I realized that if I loaded it in game, I wasn't seeing that cab.

So, um... when I try to change the cab of the DD40X, it makes it faulty.... Yes, I know, big bump, but it's kinda important.
I opened the engine with CCP, and replaced the SD40-2 cab with the correct DD40 cab, but then the engine became faulty because of a bunch of "missing" texture.txt files... Reverting the engine makes it work again. How did you do the change? What exactly did you change? What is the fault?

Edited it in Explorer, still get the same error. In Content Manager use Edit / Revert to original to change it back to what it was.
In CM use Edit / Edit in explorer. Edit Config.Txt to make the replacement. In CM use Edit / Commit.
You should not use CCP for this sort of editing.
