Gorgeous screenshots Mark! I can almost feel the breeze coming from the Cornish coast! That plant life is really amazing!

Did a little more work on SnC circa 18090s-1900s. Returned London Road goods shed into it's original intended purpose - the main NER MPD in Carlisle! Connor's NER Pack came quite in handy here as did Ricardo's Midland Johnson 1400 Class! I honestly never thought I would have an excuse to haul this one out! Not a bad loco either!

#5342 Really nice screenshots on the Looe branch PLP. Some years ago now I tried to build up a representation of the Looe branch, but I just plain didn't have the skills to make a decent job of it. I still have a soft spot for the Looe branch though so I should download it from the Trainz store and have an explore.

Much appreciated Annie! I am indeed having fun with it although I am having reservations on how much I am heavily editing it. I'm worried it won't end up resembling the original at all!

I'm sad to see you go as well, Andrew. Although I do understand as life is always more important than Trainz in these cases, but I wish you well and I look forward to the day you return to us. I hope to see you refreshed and energized in April my friend!

Got some good screenshots of MR 1400 Class on the Arten Gill Viaduct today. Remembered that the Midland had that crazy strict "No Big Engines" policy and decided to roll with it by having it double head with a Johnson 156 Class on a heavy express bound for Carlisle. Turned out pretty well all things considered.

Much appreciated Tom! Like many Pre-Grouping companies, the MR is still in it's infancy in Trainz. Thanks to Ricardo and others it's definitely starting to pick up speed! My hopes are for the SECR or LNWR to be next! :hehe:

I feel the very same Annie, though the rest of the loco is so marvelously well done I tend to forget about it occasionally! If I can get the permission of the creator and Ed's help, maybe I can get the MR decals he used for the Compound 4-4-0 he did and juxtapose them onto the tender for a more realistic feel!

In all honesty though, what I really want is for Ricardo to give the Johnson 156 Class an updated look the way he did to the Improved Precedent. Both models were initially made for Trainz 2006 users (or so the site says) and to have the Midland 2-4-0 in the same colors as it's 1400 counterpart would be a wonderful addition. The 156 very much fits the Edwardian image I aim to achieve with this and would look excellent coasting through Ribblesdale with a rake of Kengreen's Marvelous 6-Wheeled Midland Stock.

Ah well! One can hope at the least!

Decided to have the NER J21 Class on a Cattle Train back down from Carlisle. I managed to get some pretty interesting perspectives, but I can see there is a lot more work to be done on it.

It seems I was having so much fun screenshotting the Worsdell Wonder that I forgot that I had been screenshotting the Midland 2-4-0s on the down line a short while ago and they were approaching off the viaduct! Rather than invoke "the hand of god" I decided to use the time I had to pull the Cattle Train off the main line and into a spur so the express could pass.

Having far too much fun there Tanker. The S&C route is a wonderful Trainz classic.

Today I decided to amuse myself by fettling some of my older Paulz Trainz Great Western engines to update them for TRS22.

'Scott' class Atlantic 'Ivanhoe'. An old favourite that I've run all over the TANE version of the Cornish Mainline even though the Atlantics never worked in Cornwall (But I don't care). By early 1913 all 13 'Scott' Atlantics had been rebuilt as 4-6-0's.

'Saint' class 'Saint Agatha'. I also have 'Saint Catherine' and 'Saint Dunstan' as well. Built in 1907 with a more elegant appearance than the other early Churchward 4-6-0's the 'Saints' would eventually be displaced by the 'Castle' class. 'Saints' are my favourite GWR 4-6-0 class.

Tanker! I love these shots, please do tell me where I can get all these MR locos. Your double header shots remind me so much of this photo of my most local station (closed by Beeching's axe) back in MR era.

Thanks for your reply. I was fairly sure that Paul's was the only Bulldog available for Trainz.
I have several of Paul's Counties as they were a class that worked over the Cornish Mainline and they were also assigned to the MPD at Penzance during the 1950s so they fit right into my Penzance to Camborne & Branches project. They might be older models for Trainz, but they scrub up nicely. If you do buy a County ask Paul for his set of interactive GWR cabs as well as they fit in very nicely with these older models.
