Beautiful shots!

I live in Ashby de la Zouch, have you done any of the old station there? :D

Thanks for the compliment.

Eventually the route will include Ashby. There will be two routes running through it, one from Ashby to just south of Bagworth and the other from Loughborough to Shackerstone, plus a few spurs. Essentially it will have all of the lines in place in the area with a little artistic license (Swannington Incline will actually be a railway line rather than an incline.) The modern infrastructure will be there but as if the disused lines and industries were still open.

This is roughly the area it covers but the areas where there are no railways will be missing. It has taken me roughly two and half months to get from Loughborough to Coalville East so it will not be too soon!

Trainboi, what's this route please? :)

It's some fictional Southern Region line I've been working on of late. It's a good sized project, with 13 boards thus far.

I was reading both this thread and the main UK screenshots thread; when I came to make a posting, I didn't check beforehand which thread I was posting on.

Awesome level of detail there Bogieman!
I have been upgrading Thirsk station to it's 1958 condition - I thought it would be a couple of days but it has been over a week now - I had no idea what an epic amount of track it had then. Here's D9004 passing the 1934 power box

Great work lewisner, is that power box on the DLS? Would love to see all those rails filled with rolling stock! :D

George

Thanks though I am not sure if Trainz has enough stock to fill the yards - if you look on Google Earth you can get some idea, as all the land is derelict. The box is the one which came with the ECML route (signalbox 1942) with a skin of TSP Wall 2 spline built up box fashion round it, then windows from the "Build A Workshop" Pack stuck on top of the wall.Based on this photo https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=t...ol%2Fwith%2F7734506494%2Flightbox%2F;1024;678 but not very accurate except for size.

You could probably do it if you used the scenery wagons that are floating around some under my kuid and there are a fair number of reskins.

Lewisner,
that is a commendable construction with perfect pointwork & alignment - yes, I know the feeling - I thought the Low Fell area would be a doddle taking a fortnight at the most, but, I underestimated the extent of the NCB system & the Trading Estate network. Its now been a good ten weeks & I now feel compelled to cover Norwood Jnc, staithes & coke ovens to complete the local industrial network. This is so addictive, once you start its difficult to know where to stop - must do Gateshead next & tear myself away from going too far West, aaarrggghh! the temptation to add Blaydon & Scotswood!
