TTC Discussion

Yes there is still alot of newlooks running around the city:D I even took two of them today:D The routes they run on are on Wilson and malvern division, non accessible routes. Wilson, your best bet is to go to Lawrence west stn and take a 52 lawrence west, 58 Malton, and 59 maple leaf routes, and they usally have newlooks running around on those routes, they usally have orion v's and other buses, but you just have to wait alittle (the weekdays are you best bet, but they run on the weekends too;) ) Downsview station is another good place because the 196/107 and 117 which also runs newlooks, mostly on weekdays though... those routes will also be orion vii's and V's, but there are newlooks. That is on the northern part of the city. the only downtown route with newlooks is 6 bay, wich is currently run by wilson, they don't always have newlooks though. In the east side (scabrough) your best place is scabrough town center because they have lots of routes with newlooks, like 130,131,132 and 169. They will have the odd VII NG but they will have newlooks. Those are the main routes they run, on.. they might run on other routes, but not all the time... Hope this helps:p ;) :)

That new look book...I GONNA BUY IT:udrool: :udrool: :udrool:

Also, what do you mean by waiting for '30 minutes'? Are you saying that if I'm not in rush hour during weekends, than If one bus leaves, another does not arrive until 30 minutes? Oh boy...

Thanks for the PM, I don't even have to go on a HEV VII do I? I just place the box on top of the regular one and replace engine sounds?

Well basicly!:p you will just need to have a TTC Orion VII Hybrid bus sound, and put the battery box on the top and your done:p though you will have to do a whole new bus for the TTC Orion VII NG...

P.s the only two differences between a Orion VII 74XX-7881 and a 79xx-8099 is that they have different engines and the 74xx-7620, they have a black strip on the bottom of the bus.;)

Take a look:p :p :p

What do they mean by this?
Three types of Hawker-Siddeley cars are in service at this time, the H-4, H-5, and H-6 car types. The H-4 was built in 1974-1975 and only a limited number still run. The H-5 and H-6 cars were manufactured in 1976 and 1986, respectively. All of these cars will be replaced by the T35A08 cars, as they are currently called, once they are designed and constructed.

I thought it was only the H4's who will be retired by the T36A08 cars, not the H5's and H6's as well! :'(

We need a transit museum...preferably downtown...

:(
well I know the H4's and H5 will retire when the T2's come, but not the H6, there being rebuilt right now!:p thats why they are getting wheelchair accessible areas, and stuff.... and also the T2's will first run on the YUS line so the H4's will retire and more and more H5's will go to the BD line till the T2's go on the Bloor line, than that is the end of H5's once the T2's go to the BD line, not before that though:)

:D You know what else??? :D

Now that H5 and H6 have red T1 seats...they're no longer H5's and H6's, there HT51's and HT61's! :hehe: :hehe: :hehe: :p
