TS12 Collector's Edition Golden Ticket.....

VinnyBarb

*HRH in real life*
Has anyone ever received one of these yet? Just wondering as AURAN/N3V are still flogging this edition with the incentive of a Golden Ticket. There was a thread some weeks/months ago with the same theme but I seem to have lost the place where this was posted. Plus AFAIK no one had posted yet that they received one.

Unless they (AURAN/N3V) are sneaky and kept these tickets back until all the TS12 Collector Editions are sold. I am not saying they did, I am just "thinking out loud" and wondering :hehe:.

Cheers

lol, i have have a feeling there is no "golden ticket" I feel its just a sales pitch. i dont mind, just since they announced that the are golden tickets, i have seen or heard of one

Someone won a ticket before, but I can't recall who.

I didn't win either, but that's normal for me. I've never won anything in my life!

Same here, the only thing I won was $50 for selling 600 choclate bars in school. I had to work for that, not click the buy button and watch my bank account dip $150 only to recieve a copy of 12 with a side of crushed hopes.

I didn't get one but that's ok.
My main aim was to get all TS10 EE content into TS12 which I have done with J Citrons help. And the three add ons :)
I am happy.

Anything to do with the goose that layed the golden egg? Sounds like one of those Auran route building contests that disappears like the morning mist.

Like this one? ;)

As far as I'm aware (and admittedly, it's not my area) we haven't heard from anyone with a golden ticket so far. It seems unlikely that none of the purchases so-far have included a ticket, so my personal assumption is that there are a few unopened 'gift' boxes out there.

I've never even come that close!

My donation to N3V goes to a good cause, I mean it gets us future upgrades and programs. Any company needs money to survive, and if we want something, we have to buy it, or as I should say should buy it unlike what a lot of people think!

I got a golden ticket. I now own one of the most successful chocolate factories in the world.

I wonder how many have been sold? I can't recall the amount that were made either.
How many boys n girls, how many?

Ha! 2500. yeah right. more like 25, if that. where did you hear that fran? come one now ive only heard of one, from john, and he says he cant even remember who it was.

If you think that N3V would distort the truth about the number of copies printed, perhaps you have not seen or read the advertisement about the Limited Edition.

See the link below, scroll to the big "A" and read.

Fran1 is correct, you are wrong.

It is a shame that people post misinformation.

Have fun,

Have fun,

aardvark1, first, i clicked your link, and if you read the whole thread, you would see thats not what i was talking about.

i thought fran said there were 2500 GOLDEN TICKETS distributed, not copies of TS12.

i read, and below it said 10 golden tickets were printed.

that, makes more sense.

second, i respect you aardvark1. i understand you must be an elder. and i was raised to respect your elders. but that doesnt mean you have to be such a donkey:D in every post. every single post i see you make, you act like and type like you work for auran and are the head moderator. you even argue with moderators if you fell they do not have correct judgement.

like u could have just said "fran is correct, you are wrong"

but then saying "It is a shame that people post misinformation."

thats just downright mean. you called me out on something i wasnt even talking about.

so, in the end, i just want to be friendly with everybody. but that cant happen if someone on here wants to be papa bear of everyone

It seems to me that the confusion of the subject matter begins right there. Is Deano asking how many Golden Tickets or how many Anniversary Editions were sold and made? The post before his speaks of Golden Tickets, so it would be easy to assume that is the subject.

2500 were made.

Fran replies correctly, but believing Deano was asking about the Anniversary Editions.

Your reply seems to indicate that you were referring to the Golden Tickets, not the anniversary editions. You may have been following the subject as I was, from the post previous to Deano's.

Have fun,

Ron posts, believing the subject matter is the number of Anniversary Edition copies.

Without clearly stating the difference in each post, it can be hard to follow the ball. I think Deano was in truth asking about the number of Anniversary Editions sold and made, but if you are using the rules of conversational English, it appears that he is asking about the number of Golden Tickets, by referring to the subject of the post previous to his.

With everyone posting at different times, it's hard to know for certain, but I can see where the confusion started.

I don't think Ron wants to be everyone's "papa bear", I think he read that you thought that only 25 copies of the Anniversary Edition were made or sold, (which would be fairly outlandish), when you were referring to the Golden Tickets instead. In fact, I believe of the 2500 copies of the Anniversary Edition, only ten contained a Golden Ticket, which is far less than 25.

In any case, we all make mistakes when we post on the forums, but it doesn't mean we are mean or have some type of agenda to fulfill.

Who cares how many there was printed and good luck to all who have spent the money to buy the Anniversary Edition,
and not everyone can win, ten to twenty tickets vs all Trainz users,
who cares good luck i say and support Trainz

No golden ticket for me, and I even went back to Trainz 2010 afterwards, as I like the Compatibility Mode.

As for Trainz Simulator 2012, it's for my future when the DLS has caught up, and I have a better computer.
